Does anybody have a lead on job that I can work at home that is for a honest company. Any ideas would be appreciated but if anyone knows of a job that I could work with proofreading or graphics I would really appreciate it. I am college educated, I have a B.S. Degree in Communication Studies, a writing degree. Also I type 80 w.pm.

I know of a company hiring for remote coders.

What you do is look at documents that they have previously scanned into the system and find the date, author, subject, etc... and enter it into the correct fields in their program.

All is done from home. I have worked for them in the past and know that they ar legit.

Hope this helps!

Everythingebay,

I just applied to the coding job and attached my resume. I have a couple questions if you don't mind answering:

1. Why did you stop working for this company?

2. Do you recall anything about the pay scale?

Thanks in advance for any help you might provide!

I just visited the onss.com site and I noticed that the remote coders listing stated that you must be fluent in Japanese. I'm not !!! Did anyone see more jobs for Remote Coders that I missed?

Thank you for any help with this.... Beth

I came across two opportunities. One is involved with direct sales and the other is web base which very similar to an mlm. Both are legit but operate very differently.

I have received a check from both and talked a lot with each company. One is a wellness company that promotes health/home products which is done by direct sales and the other is a telecommunication company. The wellness company requires a $30 membership fee and the telecom company does not require a membership fee.

If you are interested I can provide urls for each. I am not sure if I am allowed to post the urls because I am involved with both. Let me know.

puhlease1,

1. I stopped working for them because I started my own business listing autos for car dealers on ebay motors.

2. The pay varies from .02 cents per record for the really easy ones to .22 cents per record for the others.

There is one more thing I think you should be aware of; sometimes you won't get paid for some jobs for up to a month and a half later. They pay every two weeks, but you don't always get all of your pay for the prior 2 weeks work at that time. They pay you when the job is finished and they have invoiced their clients for them.

And you do not have to speak Japenese to work for them Smile

I hope that helps!

Hi Seranade,

I came across this site today which offers various work-at-home opportunities, and was reminded of your earlier post in search of just this sort of thing. They are essentially a clearing house for companies outsourcing clerical work. There is a nominal one-time registration fee, which gives you access to their database of available assignments. You might find it useful.

Good luck!

I currently work for On-Site. You do not need to know how to speak Japanese fluently...I don't even know one word in Japanese. Pay rate ranges from 2 cents per document to 23 cents per document...with occasional projects paying per page also. There is a lot of people working for them so getting a lot of work is often hard to do.

There is another company that does the same exact work. Cypher Services Inc (www.cyphercontractors.com)...tho they now require some legal backround now.
