Last week i got a mail in my po box telling me about how to make money at home. That was the very first time i ever heard about making money at home. I have questions about that. Is the only way to make money, selling stuff? Can't i work for companies and get paid monthly?

Yes, you can work at home for companies but your pay will be 100% comm. When looking for a company be very careful and make sure you call/talk with someone within the company. A lot of "money Making" scams are floating around on the internet, postal mail and direct calls. Also, if you decide to work for a company make sure they have a track record! Some companies will close shop after they utilize a sales crew for free. Feel free to e-mail me if you need more help.

If you decide to work with internet. I have a comment to you.

Dont spend all your time with them. Just do it for a hobby only.

Hi akkus,
I would agree 100% with justsolo.
The best advice would be to use your common sense. Why would I decide to do a job like that, what will the cost be and what are my potential benefits?
If you always keep that in mind, you'll be fine.
And always remember: in a real business opportunity you would never be asked to pay something when starting. Exactly as it is with the real jobs.
Hope I helped you..

Coming from a person who has spent an enormous amount of time and money on business-building and advertisement products, I can tell you that it is absolutely essential to verify the authenticity of claims about internet products and services. You'll be hard-pressed to find ANY ad on the internet that doesn't make outrageously exaggerated claims about how powerful their product is. I personally have bought advertisement products that promised 5000 hits to my website, etc... and almost none of them provided any actual return whatsoever - in fact, I don't think I even got one hit from most of them.

When it comes to internet business, your best bet is to work for a big company with good customer service and a reputation for providing quality products. There are actually a bunch of big interent businesses that are registered by the BBB. If you are interested in starting a business online, I would suggest seeking out one of these businesses, preferably one with a downline/affliate program, where the people who have already succeeded with the program have a vested interest (read: $$) in seeing you make money.

Your role in these businesses is usually to advertise the product through your own means, whether it's by using the business-provided gateway websites or by putting up links with your affliate numbers on them to get customers to their websites.

My strongest caution to you (if you decide to go this route) is to make sure you don't spend too much on advertising products. There are a lot of free ways to promote your business. Use those tools and only spend your money when you have found a truly well-established, essential marketing vehicle.

I hope this helps...

Hi, Akkus,

Everyone has made some good points for you to consider.

You can make money doing just about anything online either as an affiliate for a company or as a business owner yourself. However, you can very easily spend a lot of money along the way as well.

Make sure to use your best judgement before spending money on advertising or opportunies and ask yourself if this service or product will really help you to reach your goals.

Other than that, if you are looking for a change in your lifestyle, the next thing to do is do something about it. Many people are afraid to take that leap to get from being an employee to an employer or self-employed.

I've worked at home for over 7 years now.

I wish you the best.
