I recently opened a "work from home" business and am having trouble. It doesn ot seem that my claim is believable, even though I have legit work. What can I do to increase interest in the work?

Also, I am looking in to investing in a CD at my bank. I have $1000 principal, the interest rate is 2.72 compounding monthly, the APY is 2.75%. I want to have the CD for two years. I get a value of about $1904.21 by the end. Is that correct?
