I agree with a lot of the information on this post and just wanted to put my two cents in. I have worked in Network marketing for several years (and different companies). One thing that I find is that not every opportunity is going to be what fits into your desire and family life. Many of these MLM or direct network companies make it sound very easy to "just join" and you will be promised the opportunity to make thousands of dollars a month by working part time etc. I finally made up my mind to stop listening to these empty promises (they really are), and find a product/company that I truly believe in. If you are empassioned by a product/service and you believe in the values of the product and or service, you are going to put everything you have into the company you decide to work for. I agree that any product that is consumable, is a great opportunity to work in (because if people consume it, they will be back for more (only if it is a good product, backed by research (NOT testomonies, but real life research). However, there are a lot of great companies out there and my advice would be to just find one that makes sense to you, that you believe in, and not join one because they promise you will make thousands of dollars a month. If you are going to work for yourself, you would be doing it with a product/service that you truly believe in. People will listen to you if they see you are passionate about something. Good luck to you in searching for business.
YOU ARE CORRECT IF ITS CONSUMABLE ITS A GOOD MARKET TO GET IN!! NOW WHATS EVEN BETTER IS IF THEY CAN TAKE THERE VITAMINS, ANTIAGING, STRESS, ACHE, ETC.... PILLS ALL IN A FEW SIPS OF MONAVIE...I FOUND AND CONQUERED MY DREAM!
I agree with all the posts here as well. There is one other thing folks need to realize when getting into MLM or any network marketing...whether its a product or a system you MUST SELL. Its that simple. You are not going to get rich overnight by joining a program and sit back and do nothing. You must actively WORK and sell what you are offering. MARKETING. True, there are a lot of MLM scams on the net, HOWEVER there are some very good opportunities out there as well. Yes you should have a good product. It should also offer opportunities both for direct sales and a compensation package for recruiting ( selling ) others into your company ( downline ).
Bottom line though is once you are involved with a product/system that you believe in....work at marketing it to others.
Hope that didn't sound like ranting, but so many people thing that all you have to do is join and do nothing. It would REALLY help if folks in the upline would actively coach thier downline too. I usually send out an email to my downline at least once a week to both encourage them and aid them in marketing. My retention rate has been great. I feel bad for those that get involved and are never contacted by those who they signed up under.
