The first thing to think about before you sell on ebay is that the people who are shopping on ebay, myself included, are usually looking for the best possible deal. So, unless you have an unusual niche or products that are in high demand you are going to have to buy products cheap in order to make a good profit. You can also sell products that you never have to touch. If you want to do that you will have to find drop shippers for the products you want to sell.
If you handcraft your own items, there is a good chance that you won't get what the product is worth. People tend to pay more when they can physically examine the merchandise.
