I am trying to advertise my new website so that I can make some money for school....
My question is should I use a WEB RING? Which one?

I personally haven't used webrings to promote my site so I can't comment on that. But, I do know networking has helped me. A good networking site I found was Ryze. I don't have the link right off hand but you can easily find it thru a search engine. Also, there are several boards on the net that are for advertising. I do have a home employment section on my site with several free resources for advertising that may be helpful as well. My link is in my sig. The resources listed are free so take advantage of them.

First disadvantage you have is the use of a free site. A lot of the search engines discount free sites totally.
If you go to www.cyberultra.net/hosting.php you can get professional hosting for $25 a year.
Next go to www.warriorforum.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=13.
This is primarily for people joining the PIPS opportunity but at the moment Stone Evans is doing a dailly marketing log on promoting the site. The principles can be applied to any site online. It's pretty rare for an established guru to go back to square 1 and explain step by step how to create a web presence AS THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING IT, so this really is on opportunity not to be missed, particularly when it is accessible free.
Do you know I hate cats, particularly a black and white 13 year old one that has just stolen my pork chop off my plate. That'll teach me to do two things at once!
