No, I have a full time job but was looking for a way to supplement my income without having to take a second job at Pottery Barn.I think the proofreading thing would be right up my alley, but am skeptical like you. I will keep looking into it and keep you posted.

Hi,

Thnx for the reply, I am from Mumbai, India, where r u from ?

Well, let me know if onlineproofreaders is worth taking the risk or not ?

I have many other similar internet based offers with/without investment, which frankly speaking even I don't know are genuine or scams, but after 3 years of R&D on such projects, I can say that, there is least chances of they being scams as I have from my past experience filtered out all the fake/scamersters sites & kept only those sites which are most probably genuine. But I don't myself have that much time to work on those sites.

Anyway, thnx again & keep in touch.

Clarke Howard would sound off the bells over anything that asks for $$. I would be leary of anything that charges a fee no matter how good it sounds. Contact their customer service dept. and ask for references of other people that proofread for them. I'll bet you you'll get a big run around and they will tell you that it is a violation of privacy and they can't devulge that info. blah, blah, blah. Hate to sound so negative but I'd be interested but shocked if this is legit. Good luck.
