Hi, would love to be self-employed again. Got any ideas? Live in the Maine area. Winters are long and cold!

Hello cdpaine!
There are a lot of opportunities in the internet. However, talking from my personal experience, most of them are scams and are not worth even having a look at them.
Also, be very careful when listening to promises. Read linda's article http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=514#514 to see what you should look for in a company.
I have joined a large company and have been amazed with how well organized they are.

Hi cdpaine,

What do you love doing? What would you gladly do if you worked 12 hours a day for ME and I paid you nothing?

If you can figure that out, it will be a good start for you Smile

Use what you love doing and create a business out of it. It could be anything, really.

Hi,

How can your knowledge be presented to the ordinary guy like me? Is there anything you can teach me regarding boat building or wood working in general. Do you have any special techniques / ideas that you have been praised for?

I don;t know much about wood working, but i think the regular guy would not want to build a boat as it sounds like too much hassle. How about boat repairs, boat modifications/ renovation, boat customization, custom boat painting ect to go along with that?

Just bouncing an idea off you. You should be the expert at this Laughing

Jim Rohn (my shi-fu) says that "Service to many leads to Greatness". SO find a way that your valuable knoeledge can be applied to the masses.

I think you can have a very good market and very good product of your own.

Well said, Chris.
Anyone who tells you different either hasn't been there and is a fool, or is just lying to get you into a scheme or scam.

I see you use one of Stone's PIPs sites yourself, so have the best advice and backing and are well on your way to making a success yourself.

The reason I know this is because I clicked to see Chris's site, to see what it is he is using. It was his well written words that prompted me to do this, that piqued my curiosity.

This is something sadly missing from a lot of people who use forums these days.
