hi there,
i am new here, located in Singapore. Nice to meet you guys.
i am currently looking for some home based jobs for some HARD cash. But all those sites asked for registration fees which can cost around
$20-$70. Are they true or scams? i cant really afford to get scammed. : (
I was hoping to earn some money working at home to save up for my studies. I would really appreciate if any of you has a really TRUE website that you can let me know. I read about sites offering typists, survey are they true? do they really paid? Has anyone tried for any of them?
Would really appreciate help. : )))

Jesmin,
What type of job / opportunities are you talking about? Most opportunities around is free to join, and you only pay to upgrade, etc.

I was thinking of jobs like typists or data entry. Do ppl have this kind of jobs going around? Coz most of the sites that i surf, wants a registration fee to be their members in order to get accesss.

Hello Jesmin,
You may be looking in the wrong place for typing/accounting jobs. If there is a fee for access to the site, you probably will not get you monies worth.
Maybe you should give network or internet marketing a chance, there have been a lot of millionaires created over the years.
The opportunity I am with currently has been online for over six years, has an honest and dedicated leadership, and has already paid out over a million dollars in their new Revenue Sharing Value Plan since May'04.
Good luck in whatever you decide to follow,
Joe

Hi Jesmin,
There is a good e-book on Home-based-Business by Leslie Truex. And
among my favourite part of the book is on "Identifying and Avoiding Business Scam", whereby the author has listed some of the widely used tactics of the so called "pay first to work-at-home".
Let me know if you are interested to get hold of the book. It is free!
Cheers,
Anne Yahya

Jesmin,
If you're looking for the typing / data entry kind of job you don't really need to be looking online. I am sure there are many opportunities in SIngapore.
I think it is assignment based and last year when I tried some in Malaysia i was paid either RM80 per assignemnt or RM 50 per day.
It is a pretty monotonous job, so here's another suggestion : translation services.
If you have mastered more than one language, you can seek translation jobs at your Singapore education ministry or even some commercial companies.
Language translation pays MUCH more than simple data entry, and it is also more exciting.
Give it a shot?

Surveys are real but I wouldn't go into it expecting to make as much as most sites claim. I would consider it extra spending cash.
