Hello all.

I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I have a question regarding taxes.

I live in New York and started my business in July. I have read here and there that I can claim things on my taxes because I have a home based business including things like a portion of my mortgage, electric bill, internet bill, etc. I was wondering if anyone has any info or knows where I can find info on this. I'm also concerned because I just go married in May, I'm also trying to figure out if we should file jointly or seperate, but all our bills that i think I can claim part of are in my husbands name.

Any advice would be appreciated! Very Happy
