*Takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly* Three to four weeks for initially hearing back you say. I guess this is one of those times where having had the military teach me patience in abundance will serve me well. Although I am not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, I am looking for some sort of actual employment, where I can expect to receive some sort of semi-regular pay. In the meantime I will continue looking in to and working on home-based businesses though personal websites that can slowly help build my income over time. Well, back to finding concierge and call cantre jobs that hire home-based workers to apply to. I have come to the conclusion that data-entry is probably not for me. I don't 10-key quickly enough and the number of scam sites is so high that weeding through them to find something legit is too time consuming.
I found Odesk recently. Its like a freelance site that you can bid on jobs. There are TONS of them. I still have to work on my profile, but hoping once I get the hang of bidding, I may get hired!!
For those of you who are interested in doing data entry work (www.keyforcash.com), I found a legitimate company that pays .50 per 1000 keystrokes. You can make good money if you have the time to sit and key and are a fast keyer - it's worth trying it out. Their website explains everything you need to know. I originally heard it may take months before hearing back from them after signing up, but I heard back in two days (which was last week). The website also provides instructions on each job which includes; alphanumeric, numeric, dollars, dollars and cents, and letter only. As you key, the system auto-calculates what you've keyed so you know how much $ you are making. They only downfall is that they will not mail a check to you until you have $50.00 in your account, but if at any time you decide this is not for you, they will send what is in your account even if it is less than $50. In three days and not keying as often as I probably could, I've made about 25.00 so far. However, if I keyed at least 8 hours/day, I probably could meet my $50.00. So, there is potential in making a pretty good income if you are a fast keyer. They pay every week and provide info on when your check is mailed out so you can keep track of it. One little tip; when they ask for your title position, specify you are a "Data Entry Operator." I believe that is why I heard back from them sooner than I expected. Good Luck!
All work at home business will require you to do some sort of work to make it work. Get rich quick schemes are just that schemes. When you choose your home based business i suggest you ask about the back end or if there is any support group or forum. I have found that the support forum in the program i use is priceless and any questions i had about internet marketing where answered quickly. This forum alone has giving me alot of sales just by reading and asking questions. It's a hard market to crack if your doing it yourself. Support forums people this is the key.
Im new.. but looking for something substantial, being at home with family now and school... I hope to find a couple jewels during my stay here.. thank you all early for the help
Aryn: In the meantime I will continue looking in to and working on home-based businesses though personal websites that can slowly help build my income over time. You'd be surprised how much you could eventually make building a website and using affiliate marketing. It is a slow process, but if you do it in your spare time while you are waiting and in between times thereafter, you could have a nice little business that will pay you regularly in the years ahead. It's definitely worth the effort in my book.
The easiest way to make money is by submitting articles to Associated Content. I got anywhere from $5 to $15 for a 400 word article. The trick to getting a good amount is by selecting a keyword or topic that has a decent number of searches. You can submit any number of articles. I made $800 in a month and used that money to launch other sites. Once you make the initial seed money, start a blog on an in-demand niche and post one topic daily on the product you are promoting and use the Social Bookmarking sites to get traffic. Good Luck Annex
when the whole system works online, why is it that I see that these jobs (atleast some) are specific to the US residents? Is there a particular reason for that? And, off the record, I need somebody to direct me to a forum or a group that could help me in furthering my writing skills. Can you help me on that count?
i got one more site -- 365jobs4u and dataentryjobs.. these are scam.....please dont pay them any money.
Get rich quick AD's don't sit well with me. So, If you see one, don't walk....RUN! As far as scams are concerned, they're only scams if you're not making any money. Is it something that you've done to not make money? Most times, yes. Like with any business, you get more out of it as much as you put into it. You have to find what will work best for you. I started a home based business because my husband had a heart attack. He's fine now. His doctor told him that within 2 years he wanted to see him out of his job. I had to do something. He was the primary bread earner. I did so much research on home based businesses. I did find one that fit the bill of legit. I'm happy at what I'm doing. If you're looking to start your home business, really look around. They're so many that are 100% legit. You'll find one that will work for you. Good luck. To your success, Michelle
For me, affiliate marketing has been my best bet so far. By that I mean the best paying for getting started making money online. If you have the time to develop your own product all the better. However, while you're developing your own product to sell, start making money right now doing affiliate marketing.
I've been doing cash crate for about a month and have received an actual paycheck. It's not thousands of dollar, but it's definately extra income.
If you don't want to do affiliate marketing and other things that take time to build up regular income, you might want to try general transcription. There are many general transcription companies that hire people with good English skills, even people without previous transcription experience, to work at home transcribing a variety of subjects, including financial calls, interviews, TV shows, etc. I've been working at home as a medical transcriptionist for 12 years and make a very nice, steady income. You need to go to school to learn medical transcription, but you don't need to go to school before you can do general transcription at home.
Hi, I started in affiliate marketing years ago and is a great way to make a full time income from home with some work. I started with no website due to funds and slowly built my business.... Good things happen to people who work hard... Take care Jeff Casmer
I concur with Jeff's comments , good things do happen to those that work hard. You have to be willing to commit yourself to your chosen business and work on it everyday. Kind Regards Jason
Thank you for the reply. The commissions that I rec'd have been great. We're not talking about just extra income. With any business, there is a start up fee. I did not mind paying the start up fee, because I knew this system worked and worked well. To your success, Michelle
Thanks a lot for sharing these sites but Vishal I will be obliged if you will tell us the maximum amount which we can expect from them. Have you tested these websites.
