I have just joined this forum and thought I would check out this thread and it looks good, some interesting comments and opinions being thrown into the mix...just as it should be! With reference to affiliate marketing, I agree that it can be great to be involved in, if you have found the correct products to sell and know who you will be selling them to. Ultimately though, if you decide to put all your effort into affiliate marketing, then you should also have a long term vision. Lets be honest, whilst it is possible to generate a good income, just remember that whatever you are earning is likely to be small in comparison with the owner of the product. Never under estimate the value of consistently seeking to improve your own knowledge on online marketing, e-books and affiliate marketing. The more you can build your own knowledge base, the more that you will begin to become an authority in your own right. Whose to say that you could not achieve more sales for your own product that you are currently achieving for someone elses product? Don't simply purchase a product so that you can become an affiliate for it. Imagine this.. What if you purchased lots of educational products, took in all the information to the extent that it was now fully stored in your brain and you mastered the affiliate side of things? Could you not now switch your efforts to producing your own product and getting lots of people to sell it on your behalf? You have the knowledge, you have mastered the affiliate marketing process, you can now become the authority and increase your income further! Yes, it's a long term goal, but one that I believe any aspiring or current affiliate marketer should be looking to achieve. Have a great day all!
Hi thereaper21, sounds like you are new here so welcome. Have you read above? Give us more details of you what you would like to do and we will see how we can help. Cheers Paolo
Start getting rid of all your things you haven't touched in the last 2 years. You probably don't need them, and sell them either for free in the classifieds or ebay. What are your goals?
There are many ways that you can find out which home base business job will work for you. It isn't easy, and if you've spent any time surfing through millions of home-based business related websites, you probably wonder if there even is such a thing as a perfect legitimate home based business out there. First thing is to make sure you do your research by checking out the business opportunity and establish whether it is legitimate or a scam. This could be time consuming and it's not always easy investigating a business, but it is to your advantage to invest the time in researching the opportunity before signing up or spending any money. Even before you ask for more information from the business you are investigating. There are many resources available to help you find home-based business ideas. Searching the internet will give you some of the information that you need about various home base businesses, but I would also look into other resources. A Local library and bookstore will have many books about getting started in the home base business. It is usually easy to make up your own mind after you have had the right type of information for yourself. Once you find a business opportunity that interest you, spend some time going through it. Do not rush and jump into the opportunity, this could take a few days, weeks maybe even months before you can make a valid decision. There may also be the opportunity to sign up for a free Newsletter, go on conference calls and free webinars also check to see if anyone is posting on forums/messages boards etc. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about the business and enable you to get a general feel for the business opportunity. Also check to see if any training is offered this is really important if you are new to marketing. While it might be difficult for you to choose a business that will work for you, think about your skills and interests, and be open to the idea of doing several closely related things. A network marketing secret: Don't pass up an opportunity to use your talents, education, skills, and create multiple streams of income! Most successful Home base business owners have more than one stream of income. Choose ideas that you would enjoy doing, or have a strong interest in learning and doing when choosing your new home based business; because you'll be spending a lot of time doing them. Income potential should be considered, but your decision definitely should not be based on your potential income.
Sorry, I mean't advertise for free and not give them away for free. Would you like to work with your pc from home? Start a home based business from home? Have you thought of affiliate marketing? or do you have any product/s or a service/s you can sell or offer? How much time can you spend on your pc?
What about VIP desk. I applied but I was not accepted for the job they were looking for. Not sure why. Maybe it was the hours I was able to work?
thereaper21: no i don't want to do that . is there different way to get money easy ? Sorry - there is no such thing, unless you do what paolo4 suggested... sell stuff on Ebay. If I need money FAST, I have done that a lot. What most of us do on here as far as working at home, is called affiliate marketing and you can click on the link below to read all about that... What IS Affiliate Marketing?? It is SIMPLE but not easy... If it was easy money - everyone and their brother would be doing it already.

Good evening! I just recently found this forum and registered, so excuse me if my questions are redundant! There is a plethora of information here, but this thread seemed to be active, and I'm hoping there are some helpful folks about. I'm interested in starting to work from home (isn't everyone around here, huh?). I'd prefer to do data entry, proofreading, editing, or inbound call center/customer service representative work. I'm most certainly not interested in anything that requires an initial investment, or any outbound sales positions. My initial inclination is to begin with West at Home. I worked at a physical West call center many years ago, but it was outbound direct cold calling and while it was not a rewarding experience, West was certainly a reputable company at the time. I am proficient on a PC, comfortable using a headphone with mic for an extended period of time (I play WoW and use Ventrilo), and am up all hours of the day and night. So, my questions to you... Is West at Home a good place to start, based on my preferences? Can you recommend a few credible opportunities that would be suitable for me? Thank you to anyone who could shed some light on the world of work at home opportunities at this time!
orcawhale25: Not all Direct Sales or Network Marketing opportunities are available to Canadians. Affiliate opportunities seem to be available to most everyone.
Well, it took a few days for my first message to get approved. In the meantime I thought of a few more things that might help ya'll figure out what exactly I'm looking for. I'm not looking to get rich quick. I'm not even looking to support myself with WaH income. I'd like to earn roughly 3-5k a year to supplement my normal household income to increase our spendable cash. As I said, I'm not looking for anything sales oriented, don't want to buy any "business opportunities". What I'd like is to be able to actually do work that I'm already familiar with, from home. Since my initial posting of my first message, a few posts above, I've applied with West at Home (but heard how long it can take to get on with them, and that a lot of even their inbound CSR positions are focused on "upsells" and the like, which can be almost as bad as outbound cold-calling I'd imagine), with Cloud 10 (went through the entire application before it said Vista wasn't supported ), and started thinking about Alpine Access (but their set scheduling isn't exactly what I'm looking for). Does anyone know of a reputable company that hires at home CSRs? I'd rather not be an independent contractor, I'd like to stick with a company that actually hires you on and handles all of the taxes. Any help ya'll could provide will prove to be invaluable, I'm sure!
orcawhale25: Are any of these work at home systems for Canada Hi Heather, I don't know which systems you are specifically referring to, but SBI (SiteBuildIt) is actually a Canadian based company. They teach you from the ground up how to create your own online website business. I've been with SBI for almost three years and am a very happy camper. You can do it from almost anywhere in the world, fortunately, since I spend most of my time in the US and Australia. I don't know if that's the kind of thing you're looking for, but it's what I know the most about. It's worth considering. Blessings, Angie
