Hey Suzy!! I too was recently layed off on March 6 and my heart goes out to you and your family! It is such a reality check to be in such a position. Your on the right track doing your research. Research is key! Some have said you can do it on your own without investing a cent and that is very true in that all of the information is at your fingertips online. BUT if you know nothing about affiliate marketing (that was me) I suggest you choose a program that can get you started in the right direction and plan on investing ALOT of time to get this going. People will tell you over and over that there is no get rich quick scheme because if there was everyone would be doing it. If you do purchase something to help you get started make sure it has a money back guarantee so you can get your money back if it is not right for you. Any program that doesn't have one is not backing up there program[IMG]

Does anyone have reliable sources for online data entry jobs?

Yes there is alot of hard work to making enough money online to replace your existing income. It took me nearly 12 months to work out a system that will allow my wife to stay at home, an I still have a day job.

If you would just like to supplement your existing income, then I recommend paid surveys. Make sure you join up from a free list and don't waste your money on a paid list.

Hi, I have experienced paid surveys for 3months... after that,

I just quited. I will tell you both advantages, and disadvanges of

    Paid survey.

Adventage -[IMG] It's mostly, Free~ Once you have all connection with
company,(You need to buy those company survey sites)
You can do as many as survey you want, Paid out from
    $0.50 to $30 per survey!!

[IMG] You don't have to pay after first payment of
company lists. All free no hidden fees..
One survey takes approx 10 mins. If you do $1
survey, you can make $12 per hour. It's money[IMG]

Disadvantage - [IMG] Many of survey will disqualify you at the middle
of survey, reasoning mostly You don't meet what
their needs. Will ask you for another survey, about
50% they will do it again.. until you complete a
survey, they will not pay you. I think average
time for survey is 30mins....(Assuming doing over 3
    surveys).
[IMG] Before starting survey, you have to register for
websites, providing your information for each time
you try do a survey, Too much ID exposed...
You will receive tons of junk emails after all....

I will give you website that provide FREE survey plus offers
    www.cashcrate.com

Whether you are still interested in or not, I recommend to try first,

then see the results, I changed my online business plan to affiliate

marketing after quiting Paid Surveys system.

Any way, I hope this helps you

    Happy day~[IMG]

Home Shopping Network also hires work from home customer service reps. (incoming calls taking orders). Check out their careers section (at the bottom of their website). I only know this because they are head quartered here with me in Florida. I just checked their site and they are hiring now and not just in Florida if anyone is interested[IMG]

    Hello

Sir how will i know if the sites aside from the lists that you have given is a certified scammer or not, so to prevent me from getting into it. thank you sir...

I really hate hearing about people who have been ripped off with online work scams. There are enough tough situations going on with the economy in such bad shape and people losing jobs, etc. we sure don't need vipers waiting online to take advantage of hungry people.

I agree with the advice to find a system with a good reputation and stick with it. It may take some time to begin bringing in a return, but the result will be well worth the time of you stay with it. As with a lot of other things, the percentage of people who actually work through and begin to see a significant return is small compared to those who excitedly start the campaign.

Cash Crate is great... I've managed to setup a few contests where users sign up to win ipods, etc... they get 1 entry for filling out an offer - I averaged out how much money I make and how many entries I need in order to cover the costs of an ipod - double the entries needed to win an ipod - so you're always making money!

Video game developers are always looking for testers, it is something I spent a lot of time with but you have to like playing video games.

Just wanted to throw a topic out there I have not seen in this thread.

Working at home is the greatest. There are so many opportunities on the market. I suggest finding something that you enjoy. Whatever your passion is find and opportunity that is geared towards that passion. Be sure that there is a good profit, good product and a system you can follow. If you find that then get started and use this forum to learn as much as you can.

I've just started my own internet business and i'm real excited. If you are thinking about starting one I'm going to be perfectly honest with you...there's no such thing as a free make money program at home. Everything cost. Don't let this detour you! You could actually start one with very little money and as time goes it will all pay for itself. I've reaserched very hard and a lot of them are internet scams. Now Ive found a couple that I trust and it's been givng me step by step intructions on how to do it. So don't think that all is lost. You can do it.
