This is an interesting idea that would probably work better for a pizza restaurant. Another thing you could try is to get your ads on postcards that are mailed out to a targeted audience. Try looking into this service at your local post office or see if there is a company that does this. I have also seen local advertisement boards on the back of bathroom stall doors in restaurants and everybody reads those! Or you could make a list of community bulletin boards in your area and print flyers to post on them. Tons of people still read those and they are free to post on. It's a good idea to check on your flyers weekly to make sure someone didn't cover yours up. Flyers can also be left in some areas of colleges and universities on tables, waiting rooms, etc.
