My name is Erich Winnecke and I am one of SFI's Top Affiliates in terms of sales. I have been in the TOP TEN in sales for SFI for the last FIVE years... I have been #1 on the new sales Scoreboard since early this year.

I want to post some truthful info about my experience with this company. I am unable to post this on the SFI D-Board because of the influence I have thru my name recognition. I also want to state in advance that I am no longer actively promoting SFI. That should be considered in reading the info contained here but does not change the facts I am about to report.

The main 2 reasons I am no longer promoting SFI is my commissions have decreased each month under the new T-Net compensation plan even though my sales have increased each month since Dec. I have been Number 1 on SFI's New Sales LeaderBoard each month since Feb.

The 2nd reason I'm no longer bringing in new affiliates is that the overwhelming majority of new people I have brought into SFI over these last 5 years.... have not make enough money to cover their membership fee.... much less make a profit.

People should be aware of this from someone who has worked SFI consistantly. I normally enroll an avg of 1200-1500 new Free Affiliates each month. These are all personally sponsored and do not include the people in my Groups personal enrollments.

SFI has made numerous changes to the compensation plan over the years which [in my opinion] has NOT been beneficial to most who work the program. Two years ago I was making nearly $10,000 per month. This last month [under the T-Net plan] I made $2700... not enough to cover my advertising costs. Approx $1100 of the above figure was residual income built up thru 5 years of working this program.

Something else to consider with SFI is that when you personally enroll an affiliate who become an EA...you will make $1.14 residual [ongoing] commissions from that person's continued enrollment... and that is IF the person falls on a level that you qualify for....The residuals under the last compensation plan was $12.00 per EA....and you didn't have to worry what level they fell on...

I've found that a significant number of new EA's I have enrolled, are placed on a level higher than I qualify to receive residual commissions on...in my case that is level 12....the only level I don't qualify to receive residual commissions from...

With others, your new EA's may fall on a level 5, 6, 7, 8...etc. For which an EA would not qualify to receive residual commssions.

One final point I'd like to make is that I now have EIGHT [8] "uplines" making money from my sales...some of these affiliates came into SFI on a date AFTER I was already enrolled... which makes no sense to me at all!!!

In conclusion, I don't want to say you can't make a profit with SFI...you can... but it is extremely difficult now and will require a lot of hard work and advertising on very high traffic websites.

Erich,

Thanks for the Info....it is a shame that this type of thing is happening, especially since you are so successful with their Program.

I have several friends who have been with SFI for years, but I have not queried them as to if they had a drop in income.

Hello Erich,

I've been with SFI for awhile and I'm doing pretty good with the business. But it is growing slow..Kevin H is my sponser. It really bothers me to hear that a lot of people thats been in the business a long time is getting there checks cut down just because they think the new T-net is better...Ya maybe for the people at the very top..

I dont know much about the old comp. plan since i joined in Jan. thats after the new T-net came into play..I know with the t-net commission plan
you need to spend $30 or more to stay in.. which means you need 30 or more EAs to cover your monthly cost to be in the business..and for some people that could take awhile..so they end up dropping out..

The truth is that my .ws business with global domain International is growing much faster. I think it is more appling to people becuase of the
Simplicity of the business..and it only cost $10/monthly. Plus for the $10/monthly you get your .ws domain name, webhosting, 10 custom email addresses all with Emailing forwarding, Url forwarding and a excellant sitebuilder.. Plus they have a few gateway websites, like SFI. And each person you sponser you earn $1 commission each month as long as they stay in the business, and the same for 5 levels down, and there is no limit on how large your first level can be..The income potential is amazing..

I just want to let people know that I feel that GDI is a way better opportunity then SFI. But I'm going to stick with SFI as long as the business is growing for me.

Not everyone has the same opinion about SFI. I understand that and am in tuned to other perspectives...However, I don't believe anyone here has invested the time, money, and effort into SFI that I have.

I appreciate when a Forum owner/moderator has the guts and integrety to allow both sides to express their viewpoints without censorship. A forum is a place for ALL people to express their thoughts and ideas no matter who disagrees with them....as long as they speak the truth and no harmful intent is in the content.

I can say with no doubt in my mind that SFI is not one of the best home business opportunities available on the internet....as many seem to think.

There are only 2 valid reasons [I can think of] to join and use SFI as a home business.

1. If you are a novice to internet home business development... then it can be a good training vehicle to teach you some of the basics of how to properly work a home business opportunity on the internet. That doesn't mean you will make money... but you will learn many valid marketing methods that do work on the internet. You will also have the opportunity to interact with other successful people who can advise you bu avoiding the mistakes they made previously.

2. The second legitimate reason to use SFI [as others have stated] would be as part of a multi-income website. SFI in and of itself is not likely to make money for you unless you are a professional internet marketing person. You absolutely MUST have a minimum of 4-5 other income sources from which your visitors can choose from if SFI doesn't appeal to them.

I hope that clears things up a bit from my point of view.
