Or you could sell other peoples things on ebay and collect a fee for each item that you list.
This way you don't have to come up with items yourself.
I have a start-up kit available at my website for this very thing. Check it out. (see my sig)

SOME ONE called pmasuisu POSTED a SHADY DEAL ABOVE!
just wanted to highlight it...so the moderator would be aware and delete it!
Hi, I did a Google search on home based businesses and found your terrific web-site. Being new to this forum, I just wanted to say... I've found so much insightful information here. Between this and your main site, it'll take me days to go through all the content! ( I'm a newbie, so there's a lot of research to do!)
My situation is probably similar to many of the people who are looking for the same info. (Jobs shipping out and needing to find another career.)
I was a sound editor for motion pictures, but the jobs have diminished and at mid life I find myself starting again. Hubby's job doesn't pay the bills so I'm hoping I can get some good advice as to whether a home based business is a viable option for me and my family. I have two kids in high school and it would be nice to be able to give them quality time (which I couldn't do while I was working 70 hours a week editing) and still be able to make money.
Oh BTW, I think some of the advice I've read so far will come in handy for my non-profit organization. (as far as trying to get more traffic to it)
thanks for forum!
Alex

Hi there
My experience shows that you cannot earn enough money to feed your family from a home based business, at least not at the beginning.
However, you can earn a good part-time income without spending a lot of hot hours every week. If you have patience and keep working on the pace you can earn a lot of money in the future.
Wherever you read about instant-wealth schemes in the internet keep yourself away! It is probably a scam.

Welcome to the forum, Alex. You will find great information here.
Its is possible to support yourself with a home based business, but you need to set realistic expectations. The benefit of a HBB is that you start up at low cost, low risk and of course, you do it from home
Give it some time to show results (esp if you have never been in a business before) and keep costs low while working on it.
I am working part time on my home based business and hopefully in the near future I can go fulltime.
Good luck.

everythingebaydotcom,
i was just wondering how much do you make doing what you do on ebay. I've tried some stuff on ebay and barely made any money at all. i'm looking for work at home and that seems like a good idea. just doing some research. thanks for any help you can provide.
