Hello everyone!

My name is Dane Carlson. I've been lurking here for a few weeks and decided that the time has finally come for me to step up and say hello.

(Vishal, it's been very interesting watching this forum develop. It's not often that one gets to see a virgin forum turn into something actually worth while. Of course, that you had a fantastically trafficed website and well developed list before launching bodes well the place, but in many case a a new forum really is a crap shoot. Great work getting this going!)

Best of luck to everyone.

Hi Dane!

Welcome! As you said developing a forum is hard work. In fact Vishal wrote an article about this which you will find on his site or newsletter..

The first forum i developed when i was still new has a total of (drum rool)......40 members...since 2002....hahah...

You're right you need the traffic and exposure first before starting a forum, otherwise it's a near impossible task to get it going.
