Lead Generation / Appointment Setting

I am in the process of starting my home based (or small office near my home) business. It will be a small outbound B2B call center whose purpose would be to generate leads, and set appointments for salesforces. I want to concentrate on small to medium sized operations so that I may provide close support for salesforce and technicians in the field.

My reasons for chosing this project are that I have extensive prior experience in this field, and that I am able to do it from any location in the world. Thanks to VOIP phone service and high speed internet, dreams can now become reality.

At this time I already have one large client, and a few more irons in the fire. Would like to concentrate on businesses in US/Canada.

As long as I've been in the business world, I've always been amazed at how a conversation here and there with the right people can really get things moving in the right direction.With that in mind, I would love to share ideas with others interested in this field. All input would be welcome.
