Yeah, I never hear the same thing twice myself, but this is not a pal she worked shop nbc and I think she did DR for about two minutes, right now she is not doing any skill so maybe shop nbc used to be that way, I don't know anything and the minute I think I do some one tells me I'm wrong, I guess you could say its a whole new experience every day when you work there.

P.S. You don't have to do it even if they do change, they ask you if you want to sign up for it. Or, let me say they asked me if I wanted to sign up for it so I assume they asked everyone.

Hi everyone, My name is Marci and I have been working for West almost a year now. I started out with Sears and then trained for HSN, which I hated, and then I was offered to train for Virgin which paid a little better. I was kind of shocked Tues when I got an email that my skills had been blocked because I needed some coaching. I almost had a heart attack. This is my only job and I depend on the hours I get. When my skills were blocked they took away all my scheduled hours for the entire week. I talked to the PAL and got my coaching and my skill was the unblocked but there were not as many hours left to pick from at that point. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a common procedure? It really scares me, the coaching that I received was on a procedure I had never been trained on. I was really upset.

marcimc,
Yes it has happened to me I needed some coaching for the sears skill at one time and it was unblocked temp. So, your not the only one We don't know everything and we make mistakes, coaching is not as serious as getting a pin so I would not worry about it. RO

I did not know they blocked your skill. I have had one coaching, or rater a coaching messege, but nothing was blocked, although I am still upset about it.

I was temporarily blocked from toy assist and toys r us because it had been awhile since I was able to work this skill because of lack of hours. When logging into one the programs it would not allow me to go into it because of my password. Contacted a pal, and was unable to get me in so they blocked me from this skill until they corrected this. I thought this was not fair. Because I also lost my hours for the rest of that day and the next.

Vagabond,
I was blocked one time because apparently, when monitored they claimed that I had hung up on a caller. I did not hang up on the caller I was having issues with the ADE freezing up and when I attempted to reach a pal coming back to the cust I hit the wrong button and ended the call. To them it appeared that I had hung up with of course, I did take full responsibility because I knew I had made the mistake. But they would not bulge and I had to accept the pin. Anyhow it put me under probation but I am ok now. RO

Did you get hired by Voicelog? If so, after the conference call did you recieved the email for the next step. I just attended the conference call and awaiting for the next step Les said I would recieve it after the conference but I have yet not recieved it. How long did it take for you to recieved the email that has training info and testing your computer? I'm suppose to recieve this email from the LIVEOP hopefully very soon. Cause she said training starts this Tuesday. RO

Hi Rsoler I never heard from voice log, i put in an application along time ago but never heard from them. I really need to get something going for the evenings and weekend, although I am starting to make good money with Parameds I still need that extra money. I went ahead a reapllied with live ops, so I should hear something soon, because I was offered a position before and got sick so she told me to reapply when I was ready.

rosie,
I would be very careful if I were you I just found out that LiveOps is not following IRS guidelines when contracting with Independent Contractors. I did some research and it turns out they are facing a Lawsuit. Please do your research Google Liveops and you should get the info. Good Luck RO

Rsoler APS retriever. It is a great job and it does take about two months to make a decent income, but I live by myself and my eye sight for driving is really terrible so I have to work at home but I do need some more income. What position did you apply with Voicelog. Let me know and I will go and reapply. I heard about the lawsuite with liveops a while back but it is only 3 people that have filed that suit so I think it will be okay.

What exactly is APS Retriever? Never heard about that again. Rsoler, we are still pay per contact but I am averaging out between 8-9 dollars per hour on slower days and 10-11 on busier days. But they have made announcements that they have terminated some agents because they were cutting corners such as transfering when not necessary or hanging up on the cust. when call can get lengthy. I take care of the call as I should and take my time with the cust. not rushing them but staying on course with them too. The investigations is what can take time because first you have to ts and if all else fails than you have to start an investigation. where that entails time right there too but you hardly have to do them.

Hi Steph You call Dr's offices and obtain the medical records for the insurance companies. It is strictly Monday thru Friday. Everything is done on the phone, you never see or touch the records. It can be challanging at times but it is not a bad job. I like it alot.

Rosie,
Go apply at voicelog for the liveoperator position. It is a simple job just confirming customers package chosen for either cable, electricity, etc...I start training tomorrow. Go to www.voicelog.com and hit work at home position located on the right hand corner bottom of site. It gives you all the details and how much you get paid by the hr. Good luck, I hear people like this job very much and the Company is great. RO

RO, You seem pretty excited about this, I am glad for you. Do they have any special requirements? How is pay given, direct deposit? check?
I am still doing West but they change something everyday, I enjoy a little diversion but at some point I would like to just know what to expect if you know what I mean.

Rosie,
How do you apply for what you do for Parameds. Are they still looking for people to do this?
