Yes i mean dhl i'm just hesitant about actually saying it bc sometimes people read this board and you can get into trouble for mentioning specific skill names. But yes they are paying per hour now NOT per min, and the shifts are still in half hour increments. Depending on what shifts you work sometimes the calls are pretty back to back, fridays seem to be a bit slower there is a slight pause between calls and also early shifts are a bit slower too, other than that they are usually pretty steady and constant, but not overwhelming. Usually you get a lot of "fallouts" from the automated system so most of the information is already filled in.

LILAHK95,
You cannot pick up another skill from West, You have to wait until they give you an invitation for the a skill. Normally you will receive an email along with another notice on the agent website.

Thanks RO for your response.

It's just that I have DR for my skill and I don't like the upsells that much and was trying to figure out a way to pick up different skill.

I guess I will have to wait it out.

Hi Terri,

This is Steph from the forum. you asked me a question regarding VM. I really like it and I always get hours with them and they offer bonuses all the time. I just completed my training for AYS which is the full swing of VM. Right now , all I do is activation, top up and migrations but after the webinar i will be able to do everything. Any questions you can always ask me. i will send you a msg privately with my email address.

Hi Steph,

I just finished the training for VM. Can you give me some insight on what to expect for Webinar? Also what kind of hours are avail this week? Thanks

does anyone know what is up with dhl? the pay rate is all over the place it went from 17 cents per min to 7.50 per hour and now its back to 17 cents per min and next weeks pay rate is 16 cents per min! what is going on? plus today was super slow, maybe because there were a lot more agent working than normal, but still.... looks like min wage for me right now

The webinar will just explain to you how to work around siebel and handle certain calls, the instructor may call on you to answer some questions and show how to do a certain task but dont worry it is not a pass or fail just informative. Are you AYS or VM Holiday? The only irriation I see with vm is the constanct problems with siebel but they are working to fix it as we speak. It never gets dulls when taking calls and the for now the hours are plenty. I get calls pretty steady.

ladyathome,
YES DHL is very unstable and I don't like it! the pay sucks! I've been with west for a year now and Sears is no longer with us so, they offered me DHL. Frankly I'm not working for .16per minute might as well give me minimum wage! I'm currently interviewing for other offers.

I just resigned from the DR skill. It is the only skill that I have but as much as I tried my heart just is not in it. When I finish a shift I am completely drained. I spent the other night an an account that took me 33 minutes go through everything get to the end to let the customer know how much will be taken off of her cc and she screamed the tv said 29.99, so that tells me that they don't listen.
It seems that the accounts are getting more and more upsells which totally confuses the caller and honestly me. I don't mind telling them about the upsells but it seems when you get to the end you have to go back through everything and they start taking things off to lower their payment. The stress i more than its worth.

Well when you resign and give the two weeks notice they take all the hours off of your schedule right away. I had scheduled myself hours till the last day and now they are gone. I called a PAL and they don't know so I emailed human resources. I followed the proper procedure with giving notice but they did not give me any notice. OH Well

rosielopey,
I'TS ok girl there are many offers out there you just have to look in the right places guess what I GOT CLOUD 10! AND THEY ARE PAYING ME FOR TRAINING FLAT FEE OF 650.00 for a 1wk1/2 plus hr wage 30hrs a week which gives leeway to have a part time on the side. Hey can you tell me how is verifast working out for you. they just called me yesturday and told me to submit my paperwork so, I can start working. If that goes well I'll keep verifast for the part time I'm looking for...cause I've got cloud 10 and I am resigning from WEST! I HAD ENOUGH of instability with pay.
Hopefully, things will be better for me now because my earnings will be stable.

According to West policy you give two weeks notice when resigning from a skill which I did. They went ahead and took all of the hours I had scheduled. Which is okay no problem but they should tell you about that in the policy. Well this way it gives someone a chance to be hired for that skill. Verafast the people are very nice, but I will not be starting with them until next week. I had to hold off because I went thru training with Parameds and really wanted to study and will be starting on Monday. It does not pay by the hour but you are paid 4.00 per case that you close and you average a case load of 75 to 125 a day. If you put in a good effort you will be paid accordingly. Verafast pays weekly you won't get rich but again you get what you put into it. Go ahead and try it you have nothing to lose. You are just calling people about the newspaper and they can't be more terrible than the ones that call in for the direct response. I've check the forums and of course there is positive and negative responses reg verafast, but there are people that have been with them for years and they really like them and the longer you are with them the more money you make. They require 15 hours a week and at least 1 weekend day but their hours are good you could do it the whole 7 days and never be tired. That is what I am going to do because Parameds is only Monday thru Friday. If anyone on the board is looking for a job you can try them because I hear they are still hiring and they have another training class on March 31.

ladyathome,
You will be contacted soon a phone interview slot will open up it does daily. hopefully, you will get hired they pay better than west and pay is stable by the hr does not change. after 60days you will get a .50 raise and hr pay starts at 8.50-12.00hr depends on the project they offer you and you choose because they will offer you various schedules/projects to choose from. and all project are no more than 30hrs a week which gives you leeway to apply for other part time jobs at home. I THINK is awesome and I'M SURE KEEPING IT! I left ACD because the pay was no good slow calls and west will be history for me soon. ON to better jobs and stability! lol

parameds works with the insurance companies. I am a retriever of medical records. When people want to purchase insurance or there is a claim etc we have to retrieve the medical records for that person. We have their authorizations etc and we fax that to the DR's office then we continue to check on it to make sure that the records arrived at parameds home office once the records are received the case closes and you are paid 4.00. The first month you work you do not receive a paycheck because they want to make sure you stay after the month you get paid every two weeks. Of course you are paid for the month, so your first paycheck should be quite large. I am going to like this because it seems so professional. You are required to work 6 hours a day Monday thru Friday and you are dealing with people that know why you are calling them. I hounded them for a month and finally had an interview then went thru training last Monday. Training was about 4 hours long but the trainer was very upbeat and she kept it interesting. The month of waiting for a paycheck is worth it for me.
Go to Parameds.com and look under retrieval specialist.

yea I left acd too, cloud 10 sounds great, I also just got an email from 800 flowers but that is only temporary, but pays better than west at least and has a set schedule, but hopefully cloud 10 comes through so I can focus on that!
