I'm new to this board but I love all the questions and answers. I was wondering if someone could help me out please. I sent my resume and fill out the necessary paperwork for West at Home. I received an email that indicated that they were looking for people that could work 20 hours during the evening and weekend time frame. Within in 3 days I did the phone interview but I haven't got a call back. Does anyone know how long this takes before you more information whether or not you go the job?
Also what does DR mean?

Sorry I didn't have a phone interview so I'm not sure how long before they will respond. Things moved pretty fast for me and I was hired within 2 weeks of submitting my resume. I know from reading these boards and other that they can sometimes be very slow with hiring, etc. so hang in there I'm sure you will hear something soon.

Thank you for replying.

I talked to a friend of mine that got hired on and she told me that I probably needed to give them my I-9 paperwork. She told me to fax it to them because that's what causing the hangup. The only problem is I can't find the fax number and my friend can't find it anymore.

Does anyone know the fax number to Human Resources?

Thanks again!!

Please use the below fax number or mailing address for I-9 forms. To protect your identity, we are unable to accept Fax, Email or Scanned copies of W-4 forms or W-5 forms; these particular tax form(s) must be received by postal mail.

Human Resources Address:

It's very important that u get that paperwork to them soon. I also went thru the process extrtemely fast; however, I DID have to do a phone interview & drug test. I received my drug screen request the day after my interview & was fully hired the day after that. In all it actually only took me 6 days to get full hired! I'm lucky I guess. I was offered the Citi skill & I am doing training now.

I hope u hear from them soon.

Samething for me Imcharles it went pretty fast. I scanned and emailed the paperwork they need and got a response back the same day that they received it. I also put my validation number in the subject line on the email I sent them. The best thing to do to get a response back is fill out all the forms and get the work authorization verification form notorized and sent back asap. Make a copy of the documents you are using and send that with verification form. DO NOT wait for a email stating your hired before sending the the forms. I beleive that emailing the forms is the best option if you can do that. Scan your documents as a picture into Word and save it as a word document and email it to the address they provide. You should get a email from them stating that they received your documents. After all that just watch your emails.

Good Luck everyone!

Buck,

I did this but when I scanned the document, it saved it as an office .TIF file. Are you saying to save it as an actual .DOC file instead? I'll have to try that and resend it if that's the case.

There doesn't seem to be any standard time for the hiring process. I applied on Wed signed the eforms on Fri and got Welcome on Sun (today) however the only skill(s) offered was DR Bilingual (spanish) and since I have a tough time ordering at Taco Bell I guess I'm not qualified. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Also what is the pay card system and how does it work/

That's good to know that "when" (think positive here) I hear from them, I could receive something on Sat/Sun and not just the weekdays.

Phone interview - I've heard something about it's automated. Are you just reading scripts back to them or is is just a computer asking you standard interview type questions.

Also, I hope it doesn't hurt my chances since I scanned/emailed my form/ID and also faxed it to them.
