I'm sure most of us one use a few methods to promote our businesses.
Here are my favorite methods:
1. Article Marketing
2. PPC (Adwords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, MSN Adcenter)
3. Joint Ventures

I use youtube. I don't really have my own video but I download some popular videos in youtube, edit the video like putting my webpage in between clips and then upload it back to youtube.

I have a pretty good sized list i have acquired between forums and Capture pages that know me and works well.
I also post on forums and am a moderator in some.
I like solo ads with List Joe (I have a very large downline here, over 10,000), Global Safelists and Adsolutions.

So many people want the silver bullet and the "easy" way without looking into doing some work. I had heard an analogy before about getting a business or other sales activities going and it's a plane taking off. Initially the plane has to spend a lot of energy and work to get it into the air, but once in the air, there is still work required, but a lot less than taking off.

These are my favorite ways and they do generate quite a bit of targeted traffic, which is key when marketing.

Video is the most powerful medium on the planet. Don't underestimate the power of video marketing. I have done excellent in every program that I have used video marketing.

2. youtube/ videos
3. other web 2.0 sites
Video has definitely played one of the strongest roles in how I market because it has been so effective for me.

I like US Free Ads.
The mini site builder is easy and fun to use..and they don't have tons of restrictions.
So, I would say classifieds and articles.

Though forums were created before the Web 2.0 buzz word, I would count them as a Web 2.0 platform due to their social nature.

Hi,
My favorites are article marketing, blogs and social bookmarking.
They all cost nothing in terms of money, but unfortunately cost alot in time. For me this is the right way round until you start making money to spend on PPC.
Also, these methods have reach way beyond the original click. Articles have a viral nature to them and blogs and social bookmarking make for great backlinks.
