Try giving away a free report about your subject with some links in it back to your site.

Give the resell rights away to the report allowing others to sell or give away your report with their own projects.

Now more and more people have a useful report to sell or use as a giveaway for their lists but YOUR links stay in the report.

Yes, that can work. Just be careful about offering too many free things too often.

You'll attract too many tire kickers. They will only be looking for freebies and they will get surly when you actually try to charge for something.

On the other hand, viral marketing is good for linkbacks and traffic.

Just be cautious about how you use it.

I agree to be careful how you use it. If you give away too many free things, you will get the tire kickers who want everything for free. I have 2 things that are viral, one is free to start and the other is paid right off the bat. I get tons of signups everyday, so I believe viral marketing is awesome if used in the right way.

Wish you the best!
