I made my first sale of $49.83!!! OMG! I am so excited!! I was jumping up and down like I won a million dollars....lol. I actually made it April 4, 2009 and did not find out until today when I logged into my account! I thought I would get an e-mail or something. Guess I need to look into that! Anyway, I started on March 9, 2009 and made my first sale on April 4, 2009. 26 days!! Woo Hoo!!

Thanks for all of the great information here! This site has helped me out tremendously!! And yes I will make a copy of my first check and frame it....lol

johnjimat - don't wonder!

Just keep your head down and do stuff - look for niches, write articles, write a blog, keep posting on forums, share info that you've learnt with others - there's always people out there who want to learn more.

You only have a right to wonder when you've done absolutely everything you can - and that's almost impossible!

I got my first sale when I wasn't expecting it... I think I'd given up on logging into clickbank for a couple of weeks and only then I went to look at the marketplace - all of a sudden there was $29.

It will happen. Just stick at it.

I want to jump up and down like them folks up there.lol.Been on for a couple of months now and still no sale.I will keep trying. Here's some words of encouragement for those of you like me.Hope you like.
-My Parachute-
Wondering down that road that goes to nowhere
trying to figure out how this happened.
Telling myself life is so extremely unfair
and I don't know why I can't get back in,
to the place where all is good
and the pieces seem to fit,
all in a line like they should
living with no regret.
"One day at a time." I sigh under my breath.
Moving forward just seems so slow.
I'm trying not to think about the day of my death.
So, I climb that ladder but I'm ever so low.
Struggle and fight to push my way up
is the only thing I can imagine to do.
Taking in knowledge that's filling my cup
with the certainty of life's brew.
Training my mind to make it unbelievably strong
is what I am striving to do now.
To be in that place where I belong
and the people are asking me how.
There will be that day I made it and no one thought
they would ever see me there.
It will only be because I stood and fought
not worrying about their stare.
So, when I'm at the top and you see me jump,
you shouldn't be afraid.
You'll see I'm out of my slump,
I have a parachute and I have it made.

Congrats!

I know the rush of getting that First Sale. It motivates you to work harder to double that every week!

My Very first sale as an Affiliate took me a few weeks that I remember. As of late I experienced sales in my first day, and every other day for about 3 weeks. Patience, Doing your Homework, and working hard will pay off in the long run.

Keep it up

kwill33710:
made my first sale of $49.83!!!

I am doing happy dances right along with you all. It is almost as fun to see others make sales as we all know the work and effort it takes!

I don't know if I answered that question above or not, but it took me several weeks before my first sale, and then I made another one and I thought , oh boy, here I go!!! Then it went like a month before the next one.... moral of the story, keep your head down and stay consistent! Do your happy dance and then keep writing...

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I'm glad to know there are people making real sales online. I'm still writing writing writing and have not had a sale yet. I'm determined to keep going going going.

Corny but true.
