Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if any of you that promote Google Adsense noticed a drop in your revenue over the last few months.

One thing you might want to check out is whether or not traffic has dropped in recent months. Also check out your earnings per click - that will tell you the real story about whether or not there has been a drop off.

Are you thinking there may be a reason for being concerned? I really like the fact that we can make money with Google adsense..... but don't like the fact that we are totally at their mercy - lol

Mine has stayed about the same - as far as ratio of $$ per impressions

Mine has also been quite steady, what specifically happened that made you ask? Did your profits go down for no reason you can find? Did you check all the things mentioned in the other posts?
I would be interested to see what happened, perhaps we can help you figure out what went wrong, or if anything went wrong at all if you gave a more detailed explanation of your situation?

I have noticed a drop in my adsense earnings and hope it is due to the time of the year when everyone goes on holiday!!

Hi Jay,

Depending upon the niche, both Adsense and Affiliate marketing can be seasonal. Earnings go up and down.

It can be due to many other things such as post quality variation, promotion, competitor activities, trends, etc...

Hi daniel,

I'm sure you're capable of looking that one up yourself. You might learn to Google your questions before you ask someone else to take the time from their own important responsibilities to help you.

We expect at least a little effort around here before we are willing to help someone.

"Adsense" is quick and easy to look up and I know you can do it.

Be careful when discussing adsense earnings or click thru rates as their T.O.S. says such talk is a no-no. I actually know someone who had their account terminated for discussing specific information about adsense earnings and click thrus.

Mine is seriously down this July and I think I was affected by smart pricing, hope it will be better after a week. Earnings depends on the visitors they get

I've looked around at the adsense FAQs a bit but the whole thing still throws me for a loop.

When I started my blog (it's only about 3 weeks old) I was getting about 30 page views a day, but I was making a few cents a day off those impressions, now my ecpm has been 0 almost constantly for 2 weeks.

My views have gone up, I've been hitting 100 a day for the past week, and I'm quickly approaching 200 a day.

I know it's small beans, and even with such low numbers I wouldn't make much from adsense - but I'm really curious as to why I'm only earning off clicks now.

Mine just increased as I have published lots of promoting pages and articles. Also, choosing the best high-paying niche can also gain more earnings through larger CPC.
