You can find plenty if you search the web. adtrackclassifieds.com, ablewise.com, adlandpro.com and adpost.com are quite reliable.

crankit98 - Are you getting customers from any of these free classifed ads?
Please let us know how you get on with those listed here.
It takes a lot of time posting ads, and it's disappointing when you don't get any replies at all. I'd like to avoid the ones that don't work and concentrate on those that do.
Thanks

Hi crankit98, you could also run a Google search by entering
free +classified ads service
or
"free +classified ads service"
into the google search to throw up a list of free classified sites.
Good luck

Aside from Craigslist you can look at Kijiji.com and Backpage.com!

I don't have a list, but I feel the best classified site on the internet is by far US Free Ads. They do have a free service. I believe you can post two ads for free. However, it's well worth it to invest in the monthly membership. It's only $10 and you can post unlimited ads. Other than that, Craigslist is the best for completely free sites.

Craigslist id still very good as is US Free Ads. But pay the $10 a month for the US Free Ads. For what it is going to cost you for one lunch at a fast food joint, you can advertise the hell out of your product or service. I do some on Craigslist when I am searching for clients. It is very useful except when someone flags you unnecessarily. For what it's worth, and I know people have had good successes with free classified, the best value for your dollar is the premium membership at US Free Ads.

Thanks for all this great advice. I'm just starting my ad campaign and I'm all about getting it done for free. I was under the impression that Craig's List was a cost site, so I haven't gone near it. I'll have to check it out.

I like US Free Ads myself. I don't recall seeing this one on this thread. You can post Free Classified Ads on E-Bay as well in their classified ads section.

Do classified ads send traffic? Which one is better: directory posting or classified ads?

I have used adlandpro to advertise my website and I did get some sign-ups from it. You must try Gumtree as well. You need to post frequently but be careful not to violate the posting rules, or else your account will be deleted.

I like www.classifiedsforfree.com. You have to renew your ads every 7 days but there's no limit to the amount of ads you can post!

Has anyone tried NeighbourForce.com? Its free and looks like it specialises in home working. Its a bit new, but perhaps one to watch.
