Hello everyone,
I have a question on article writing. I am not the best writer and would like to submit some articles to directories. Do you have any article writing tips that may make writing easier, or a good source to buy cheap unique articles
Thanks Wendy

Hi Wendy,
Just Google "article writing tips" and similar. Buy some books on writing. Take a couple writing classes from a journalism or speech communications department at a local college.
Additionally, write about something you are knowledgeable and passionate about. Write for your readers. Provide quality content.
Study writing.

Kinda funny. Someone in WA sent me a PM about this exact question - here was my reply - please note that I'm not affiliated with any of the websites in the links:
Hi,
I don't really have any tips, although I did find some resources online that should help:
http://www.a1-optimization.com/article-writing-tips.htm
http://www.articlewritingtips.com/article-marketing-tips.htm
http://whatever.scalzi.com/2006/02/12/writing-tips-for-non-writers-who-dont-want-to-w ork-at-writing/
I hope this helps!
Keith
Also, to answer their question, I did exactly what Newbie Shield suggested - I did a search on Google!

hi Wendy
At first you should try to write article by own capability, because it will increase your writing skill. When you'll go to write something on a particular topic, first you should search internet on that particular topic and read some thing here and there. It'll help you to concentrate your mind on that topic, then write article.
I am not expert in article writing. Also I have a poor knowledge of English literature but in this method now I can write some article.

You could pay people to write articles for you. Try the services section of any marketing forum. You can get articles written for as little as $3 per article.

Newbie Shield: How goes your projects? Still working on a forum project? Well, I quit my day job on July 1st...only problem is that my internet marketing projects only pay for about 75% of my expenses, so if I can't figure out how to increase my profits within the next month, I'll be looking for another job soon. Needless to say, I will be spnding a lot of time over the next month revising and adding content to some existing projects, and will also be working on some new ones. I'm still on the fence on starting a forum - I think that will be later on down the road - its kind of a lower priority item right now.

What i do is to get PLR articles and then rewrite them. PLR articles might make the job easier for you as you just re-write the articles in your own words. Or get someone to do the re0writes for as cheap as $1 for 300-400 words (yes i have people doing this on GAF site)

Search the topic on internet and then collect important sentence from all the topics. And then mix all the sentence in such a way that you get a organize artice.
I am doing this, therefore i want to share with you

What I typically do is write the way that I talk and it helps me to write articles faster; keeping in mind to always do a spell check before I submit them and also read the article out loud a couple of times to make sure that it make sense to me.

Hi Wendy,
I remember when I signed up to the ezinearticles.com directory, I also signed up for their free EzineArticles Training. They'll send you a series of emails for free on how to write articles for directories (theirs in particular) to get the best results.
I thought the information was pretty good and easy to understand. I would suggest you do that, too, since you'd know you were getting reliable advice and guidance.
Blessings, Angie

I second Happywife on the ezine newsletters and training, I keep all of them in a seperate folder.
Also if I am selling a product from clickbank, I opt in and get all those emails about the product. I read them and reword them into my own article.

Ezinearticles has great examples in their training. In addition, here is a little guide that has helped me write articles:
Answer these questions as you write... Why is it important? (Why should the reader care) What is the problem (The main things that's wrong) How can it be solved (Improved, changed, eliminated etc.) What would solve it (Example of what works) When or where can it be solved (Time, method, product needed)

The best tip is that you read and watch news to further enrich your knowledge...in article writing one must have the fresh, original and unique content that would make your visitors interested

Some of the basics that you want to cover in your articles are things you were taught back in the 5th grade. You always want to cover your main topics so your articles actually provide content that make sense. That means you want to try and cover the basics which includes the following. Who What When Where Why & How

I personally just summarize the product itself in an article or just write in an informative way about a topic related to the product that is being promoted. I am still new at article writing. I plan to look up article marketing tips once I get the keyword research techniques down first in my first article summations. It is best to make sure the topic or promoted product is researched thoroughly. This is encouraged to be done before the article is written so that the article is written more quickly and in an informative style that does not look like an obvious hard-sell to the reader.

Write what you know about. If you have a problem, there are article video instructions on Youtube. Go there and search the word article marketing. You'll see nice video explaining the whole process

When writing articles your main focus should be to draw curiosity towards your site or affiliate site.
The best way to do this is through hype oriented articles. And creating articles that help establish a connection with the reader. For example If you are promoting an acne product.
You write about how you had trouble with acne. Were constantly made fun at growing up. Battled with acne for ex amount of years until finally you discovered the solution.
then you create a call to action in your bio box. That's a simple explanation but essentially you want to do the above but also establish credibility so don't go out of your way and make exaggerated claims. Good content is better in the long run.
If you need to buy articles try going over to the warrior forums. In the hire section they have article writers for cheap

Writing articles or more accurately writing quality articles takes practice. As with most things, the more you do it the better at it you get. With the endless number of online resources available on just about any topic, you should have no problem finding material to get you started.
