What are your thoughts on using adwords vs yahoo search marketing? Yahoo seems to be quite a lot more per click. Is the traffic targeted any better for that higher cost?
What about CPA or CPM type of advertising? Does CPM mean I pay .xx per 1000 impressions or does that refer to what I would get paid if I put an ad on m site and it got 1000 impressions?

Both search engines are very good in my view. There is no better then the other scenario here.

Google probably has more competition then Yahoo and may be a little more expensive but again, I really think that they are the same.

I have never used PPC and don't intend to.

Too many people lose a lot of money with PPC, especially if you don't really know what you are doing.

I will stick with SEO and Article Marketing!

Hi Barb,

I completely with you. I believe that SEO and Article marketing do work. We have tried and tested this and are pleased with some of the results, writing articles allows us to share some our knowledge and hopefully help others too.

I've heard most say yahoo is cheaper so you comment is interesting.

However, in most campaigns, if you are getting clicks and have a quality web page, you can lower your PPC and still get good traffic.

I know this works on Google. The recommended bid doesn't mean you have to start there, or more importantly stay there, to get the traffic.
