I read several posts on SBI and have read about it in the past. I have an ecommerce store that I have been thinking about moving from my current host to a different host and according to their website it may be possible for me to transfer my store to their site. So I am wondering if anyone on here has an ecommerce store on SBI that I can look at and if anyone has moved their store from another hosting site to SBI and how smooth the transition was? Thank you for any information you can give me.

I am curious to know as well. I have only used SBI for affiliate marketing so I will be watching this with you. Hopefully someone will pop along soon...
I have a hunch you would want to build each page individually to optimize for the search engines as that is what SBI is all about. Just moving another site to SBI for hosting would be defeating the whole purpose of using SBI is my guess.
Waiting with you.

Hi jamesray50,
I would contact SBI directly about that one.

Personally, contact the host in question and ask them questions. Also expect 24 to 48 hours downtime for your DNS servers for your domain name to resolve as well. Also be certain to give your customer base plenty of warning time otherwise the transition could freak them out.

Hi Jamesray50
I know of several SBIers with ecommerce sites. Try these:
Cornhole-game.org Needlework-tips-and-techniques.com
I'm short on time and I know there are more, but they're not coming to mind. You can browse here to find more, if you'd like:

I am getting ready to set up an ecommerce site with SBI and am in the research stages. But I'm not there yet. I've also not transferred anything, so can't help there.
The reason I want to use SBI for my ecommerce site is because I know SBI is great for building a site that gets traffic. My original SBI site gets 2000 visits a day and I hardly work on it at all anymore.
I don't want to have to worry about traffic on top of running my store.
I hope this information helps you somewhat.

Moving to a new host should be seamless if done right.
