Hey guys
I recently changed a group of pages to posts using an automated program through Wordpress.
The original page URLs looked like this - http://www.mydomain.com/page-name
When they changed to posts, the URLs now look like this - http://www.mydomain.com/http://www.mydomain.com/post-name
To make matters worse every new post that I want to put in also looks like this http://www.mydomain.com/http://www.mydomain.com/new-post-name
So I have 3 questions.....
Will this change affect my SEO efforts so far?
What can I do about it?
How do I stop it happening for new posts?
Thank you
Rach

Take a look at All in One SEO Pack plugin settings. (if you have this plugin) Check that first. And look for right settings for this plugin. Wordpress forum can help.
Then check permalinks and see is "custom" selected and there is /%postname%/
Then disable what ever plugin your enabled. This automated thing. Take it off.
Check your traffic for few days, see are you still getting it, or no. Sometimes Wordpress goes mad, you can see some crazy stuff.
I've had couple of time URL's not showing up as permalinks, but everything is set. After few days things are back to normal.
Also, when did you had last backup done?

Hi there
Those are great suggestions... if that doesn't work, try the Settings > General tab and see what URL is in there...
Hope that helps
