I'm getting very..very frustrated with this..
my site is www.eChobo.com
Im trying to put adsense on it.. so I generate the code blah blah blah
Put it into my html.. and it doesnt show up.. First I tried adding a skyscraper below my left navigation bar.. Nothing would show up.. Added it to the right side, nothing showed up.. so I thought well maybe it's the template im using... Added it JUST ABOVE the text in my text box in the middle of my page.... nothing...
So troubleshooting some more im like okay.. well lets see if it's all the template.. I open up a new page in dreamweaver.. Brand new, no codes no nothing... add the adsense link... Link it to my main page, re-publish it.. test the link STILL NOTHING...
Is google producing broken coding? This is getting me very...very frustrated..

Did you add any content to the page before adding adsense code? I viewed the source code of your site pages but could not find any adsense code.

Use a text editor and add the Adsense code

Not sure if you stopped trying to correct this problem but if you still wanted added let me know. I visited your page and it doesn't seem to be there.

You may need to have content on your site already so that adsense knows what ads to put on there (?) or maybe it just takes a while to get put on your site.

I am having a problem with my google ads being relevant just on the first page. When you click on the other posts the ads ARE relevant. But the first thing you see when you enter the site is non-relevant ads and this is bad. My site finally got to the first page of google and this is messing me up as far as money goes.
I've done everything google suggested and even installed a plug in to try and help nothing works. I emailed and they said they were too busy to respond to my request so I'm at a dead end. I applied to Yahoo ads, but would like to know if anyone has any ideas on what else I can do.
I don't understand how other post ads can be relevant and not the most important one. Every new post is stuck with non-relevant ads until it becomes an old post. It's weird I don't get it.
Thanks to anyone who may know what is going on. If you don't want to answer here please PM me. Sonni
PS This is a repeated question as I was in the wrong thread I think.

Hi Sonni,
For some reason Adsense is acting like it thinks your Home Page is about lawyers and the law - at least it is at the moment.
I don't know how long you've been running Adsense on your marriage tips site, but it can take a few days for Adsense to zero in on what your site is really about - especially on the Home Page.
I hyper-analyzed your Home Page and the source code on your marriage tips site and I don't see any reason why those unrelated ads would show up. So, good news is I doubt it's due to your content or your source code.
If you've just put up the Adsense, then wait a few days. If you've had it up for a while, give Google a call on the phone if they don't have the time to help you via email.
Another solution is to remove Adsense from your Home Page and either leave the area blank or do something else with it - including using another ad network such as Yahoo or Microsoft.
Good luck and let us know how it goes,

Hi NS, I tried everything before I begged for help. It's been going on for about a week. There were more google ads, but it looked so bad I took them off then put up the Amazon banner and added the Amazon books in their place I didn't know what else to do.
Right now it's lawyers, everything you can think of has been there. I didn't think it was my content I've been staying on topic as good as I can. I still have newbieitis (a new word I made up) and do the best I can. Thanks for checking it out, maybe I should call them. Sonni

Hi Sonni,
I think you handled the temporary situation well - by putting up Amazon stuff.
I've heard the complaint before and it usually straightens itself out with time but I would still give Google a call on the phone.
Good thing is you're learning a lot in a relatively short time. The road is always full of bumps but you'll hit a comfort zone before long where you'll realize that you are at now at the intermediate stage of development in regards to online marketing.
It's all part of the game and will teach you the lessons you need. Just try to keep a level head while driving over most of the bumps
That'll feel great and help propel you forward into the expert stage some day.
For newbieitis (hee, medical translation = "inflammation of the newbie", nice coinage!) just take two placebos and call me in the morning
