I wanted to post this because I didn't get the exact name of my domain as I would have liked to. In fact, the more I thought about it the more discouraged I got. Everything I was finding online was telling me the BEST of the BEST have names that match their content/business name etc., exactly. Well, I ran across a blog that made my day. I hope it might help someone else that thinks they may have chosen wrong in their domain name, and, are unable to change it. Take a look if you like, I think he made some excellent points His blog post was mostly for folks who are selling their own product but I see how it can still work out on my Affiliate Marketing site as well, imho.

When I chose my domain names, I try to create my domain names from specific keywords people are typing into the search engines, but I usually have to go with domains that consist of 3 or 4 keywords. If the dot com is taken, I will usually grab the dot net, and if that is taken, I will either come up with something else or go with a dot org.
