I've been researching Internet Marketing lately. I have no experience in it whatsoever, but it seems like something i'd like to try. My question is, should i do the Thirty Day Challenge(since its free) and see how i like IM, or should i just go straight to WA?

Hello hearshotkid,

I have been a WA member since last November.
I love it.

Wealthy Affiliate University teaches many marketing techniques, along with having all of the tools and support included.

I also participated in the Thirty Day Challenge this year, and thought it was great.

The Thirty Day Challenge teaches one method of marketing where WA teaches many, with one-on-one support.

My best advice to you would be absolutely to join WA, and take the 8 Week Action Plan.

Then, after you have a foundation, take TDC on the side, if you want to... It is always good to keep learning!

The Thirty Day Challenge was designed for beginners, and it is brilliant, however to continue your internet marketing education you are invited to join The Immediate Edge which is $97.00 per month.

WA is $39 a month or 359.88 annually, which breaks down to $29.99 a month.

I hope this is helpful for you.
I can honestly say that both of these programs are legitimate.

I started with The 30 Day Challenge and WA at the same time and found WA to be a better fit for me. I thought I could do both at the same time but it was hard. So I just stuck with WA and I am so glad I did. I am actually on my 8 week of the Action plan. Next week I will start on the 2 new courses that was just offered for WA members. With the bonuses and courses, I will be busy this winter.

It doesn't hurt to do both since The 30 Day Challenge is free until you get to the end of the challenge and want to continue for $97 a month. With Wealthy Affiliate, its an on-going learning resource center in a community of other Internet marketers. The monthly membership fees with Wealthy Affiliate is definitely worth it.

Good luck with your decision and let me know if you have any questions about Wealthy Affiliate.

Hi hearshotkid,

You need to establish a good foundation as a first step.

It would be best to take the 30DC first to develop something of a partial background in online marketing fundamentals. I would also read from the forum here for a while. Read from some websites for a as well. Don't rush anything.

When you feel you have a pretty good grasp of the basics, consider joining a program such as WA.

It takes several months to understand the basics.

Good luck,

I think either way you will be ok. If you have the funds available, I'd say go for Wealthy Affiliate, but if money is really tight, I'd suggest just sticking with the 30 day challenge since it is free.

When you ask for Wealthy Affiliate Information you certainly get a lot of help!
This forum is so much fun!

There is one thing I would like to add here;

When I have asked for help in TDC forum, most of the time I do not receive a response. Perhaps some of my questions were a little advanced for the majority of the members?
I did however get technical support from WP Direct, which was great.

In any case, I am happy I took the Challenge, and will continue to do so next year, and the year after that.

When I ask for opinions or help in the Wealthy Affiliate forum, I normally receive at least 3-5 opinions and helpful answers.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Since I have done both the 30 DC and 8 weeks of WA I would like to get my 2 cents in. I did WA first and wish I hadn't due to not having any experience at all I was lost. WA basically told me what to do, but not how to do it, the pieces of the puzzle were there, but I didn't have basics. So I left WA kind of discouraged since I had spent a good bit of time and a little bit of money, not much.

It was then I decided to do the 30 DC and that was a great decision of course I had to do it twice because I was still trying to implement WA stuff at the same time. When I finally focused on 30DC and let go of WA, which I didn't understand anyway, I started to get an understanding of IM. The 30DC not only tells you what to do, but how to do it step by step, it is designed for newbies with no experience in IM or computer knowledge.

Long story short, I agree with Newbie Shield and say go with 30 DC first, it's FREE and you will find out if you like it, want to do it etc. Then if you still want to go with WA go for it. WA is not a scam and will provide IM tools to get you where you want to go. My favorite part of WA was the forum, however, 30 DC has a forum and the Warrior forum is also a great source for newbies.

I like WA there really is allot of support there and seems like thirty day challenge really isn't geared for affiliate marketing
