I'd have to say I've never heard of a video sitemap either.. Can you provide an example of what you are looking to do? Then we can help you out.

A video sitemap will help Google find your videos for indexing. Just Google it to find out more. This link here explains more at WordPress http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xml-sitemaps-for-videos/
It sounds like a video of what's on the website the way it was asked, which is a great idea. A flipbook video of all the pages on a website could be a new fad if done creatively. I saw one of my websites' pages on CBC documentary and it was impressive. They flipped through several of my pages, and dozens of other websites. If the question was about putting them on an XML sitemap then it requires a URL. An embeded video would not get a listing of it's own, only the page it is on. The EZ solution is to create a HTML sitemap page for all the video links. But I'm going with a video of a site's content, that would be way cool.
I am currently using a wordpress blog on the .com version and would like to create a video sitemap as i feel this is important information to send to google. I have gone through countless of blogs and articles and videos and still no luck.
