I'm hoping to start up my own event management business in a year or two specialising in weddings and corporate events/parties etc, but am still a little undecided if it will be possible and/or feasible? I'm still trying to figure out if there is a market out there for this sort of thing these days, and if so, could all my work be done from home. Sarah, That sounds like an exciting business to start. I would think that if you live in a bigger city and make your business stand out among others that it would be a feasible business. As far as doing all the work at home, I would think most of it could be done from home but you would still have to go to meeting rooms, banquet halls, etc. to make sure you know what type of place you are trying to send your clients.
