Good old Google are changing how they rank website that are not mobile friendly a great opportunity for newer websites. Any other changes please share?
Things to keep in mind when developing your responsive "mobile friendly" site: Loading: How quickly does your site load? (This is very important!) Navigation: How easy is it for someone to navigate your site? (Have you implemented a mobile menu?) Fonts: Is the font size acceptable and easy to read? Scrolling: Do users have to scroll horizontally and/or zoom in to see any content? Media: Are there any media items, like images, videos, etc. that don't load? Links: Are your links too close to each other, or can someone easily click on one without hitting another? Just because you have a "mobile friendly" site does not mean you get ranked high on Google; tend to the items listed above and your chances of ranking higher will increase.
