I am defining "Contemplation" as distinct from "Meditation". when you are contemplating you are not actually in meditation, but just admiring something. sometimes you are detached from your surroundings but in profound thought and admiration of something entirely different. The Buddhists, particularly in Japan, practice this a lot. You have all seen the Japanese dwarf trees. This art is used in an architectural sense in creating a miniature garden where you sit and contemplate. With the growing space constraints in the cities of the world, we need to get the local councils to create these havens of peace and tranquillity.
