I have one landing page which it has been ranked over million..
Once I decided to put my landing page in popular search engine, I submitted URL to Google but I didnt sent to Yahoo.

Later, I created a blog related to landing page, blog's url attached in landing page in the footer and I keep update a new blogpost related to the products in my landing page.

After a weeks, I found that my landing page has been rank into top 10, either in google or in Yahoo.
Which made it effected, submit url to SE or attached active blog url?

Definitely not because you have submitted the url to G. In fact it is not the correct practice. May be because of the blog or any thing.
It all depends upon the keyword, your web page, competition and million other factors.
If you can give more info I can give answer more precisely.
Thanks
Sam

I understand where you're getting at. In order to get your site information indexed the best, it all matters worth on SEO and we all know you cannot perform SEO without unique and quality content. SEO has a lot to do about content (though I'll admit it's not everything).

The things you'll want to look at are the following: Blog's title, subjects and articles within your blog, all your blog articles keywords/tags. If all matches well on a very well searched topic and you have linkbacks to your blog as well, this will usually cause Google itself to crawl the site after a period of time, and I mean a good period of time.

However, if you have backlinks on social bookmarking sites, other people's blog rolls, other people's blogs are pinging you and the like, then it's likely one of their blogs were already indexed by multiple search engines and the spider simply followed it all the way over to your blog and indexing it as well. That's how most of the content gets index is through link follows. Works well.

So in conclusion, I honestly believe it was through your blog. Backlinks are a killer But needed to get yourself higher up and out there.

What makes the difference is not submitting urls to search engines. It depends on what is linking to your site and how many pages you have in your domain that points to this page.

And finally keywords you use.

It could be that you linked to it from a website with a high page rank - that will make a difference sometimes in the search engine rankings.

Looking at both your blog and your landing page, you have a lot of content with highly search engine optimized keywords in both sites.

That is the key. Plus, your topic is a very popular one.

Submitting your URL directly to the search engines can take forever which is why it is often advised to submit to smaller directories first, and all the intra-linking will help push your site up.

But once again, your two sites have a lot of content around your keywords and your blogs push helped the other. That's a clever tactic. At least both sites were relevant to each other. And both are highly optimized with keywords.

Very good.

This is the technique every one will do one or other day. I feel the SEO which you have been doing has coincidentally helped in placing your landing page top. Probably your back links with high PR really made miracle to you.
