What exactly do you need it for? I usually take a sentence off the article and search in the Google for that exact phrase. It works most of the time.

I am currently using writers' services and my purpose is to ensure that the article rewritten by the writers are unique in content.

You can also check your URL within CopyScape.
They even offer buttons for your web pages.

I second Victoria. Copyscape should suffice. However, you'll need a premium account to check if the content is unique and original. Their free version let's you check web pages only.
