Hi, my names Tara and i'm with the work at home united team. I don't know why they told you to enroll 8 people, that's new? Anyway, I love the products, and it feels good to have safe cleaning supplies in my home, especially around my new daughter. I havent really enrolled anyone as of yet, but I will. It's really my motivational problems. I I tried a little harder maybe!! But I do love the company and what they stand for, and after you join and start learning about all the harmful things that we all have right there in our homes, slowly poisoning us, it's eye opening and shocking, so I'd recommend joining for sure. Check out the saferforhome website, it's quite informational, and good luck!!

United work at home thing... So how much did you have to invest? No one has returned my calls.

Can you do this part-time? I have a full time job during the day but could really use some additional income, with 2 boys in college in a couple years. Yikes. Is there any obligation to learn more about it? I don't want to be hounded either, which always makes me a little leery when looking into to these things. Any info would be helpful. My neighbor sells Melaleuca. She does a great job and loves her work. But, one thing to remember: it is not a stay-at-home job, in the purest sense. She has to go do presentations for groups and must leave her child at home to do it. She makes a lot of money now, but she works HARD and has a LOT of presentations to do (I'd estimate about 10 per week). So, if you will need to find childcare for this, just keep that in mind.

TexanMama What you are saying is true, but you don't have to do it that way. She can do it on the internet, and Melaleuca makes provisions for that by doing the same presentations online that she goes outside the home to do. All you have to do is 3-way one customer into the presentation or a whole group of people can log into the presentation. On one of the presentation sites you can have up to 250 people at the presentation. Thanks, George

hadleysmom: I am staring to look into work at home united and am wondering what it is that you sell/do to earn money? How many hours a week does to take to earn $$ Can anyone help me out HadleysMom: There are many things you can do to earn money as a stay-at-home mom, depending on what skills you have. You can often find administrative or personal assistant jobs that you can do from home that involve sending some emails, doing some light accounting, etc. There is also data entry (really hard to find), blogging, and more.
You can make anywhere from $8 an hour on up, depending on experience, education, and how fast you work (for example, if you are a writer and can post multiple blogs per hour).
My favorite stay-at-home mom job searches:
1. craigslist.org (click on any city, "jobs" then the button for "telecommute"). 2. Demandstudios.com (if you're a writer or editor) 3. elance.com (a lot of jobs are temporary but can lead to further work if they like you) 4. freelancer.com (watch out for scams)
Hope that helps!
