I have been following www.PAYBOX.me for a while now. And no doubt many of you here at WAHF have run into it. Another 'latest' contender among today's pay processor pugs.
They used to give you $50 per FREE referral, but it looks like that changed today.
Instead of $50, they now only give you $25 to start.
BUT, now they give you $10 instead of only $5 for each person who signs up from your link.
You also get commissions, for what I am not exactly sure - probably the promo efforts and other 'activities' of your downline.
They encourage you to sign in and 'use our services' which also are free - blog subscription, job posting/search and surveys. And I believe you get credit when you and/or your referrals do these things. I have yet to do any of these things though.
Very quickly, a month in my case, you will likely find your account in the $1000 range, with modest promo effort.
I am wondering how this will play out, as far as actually getting this money into your pocket. Where the money comes from and all...
But it's free, and they don't ask for any personal information (yet!), so how could I resist?

I signed up with the same skepticism, and noticed in their "shop", which looks a lot like eBay in some ways, that people are posting and offering their PayBox dollars for real cash. Some for 20%, others 50%, etc., and others are paying for "stuff" with their PayBox dollars. I'm wondering how this is going to play out too.
If you've noticed, there are more and more marketing companies being started with free entry and free downline building, until a certain point when it becomes paid. It's the same as before, except that people have been pulled in with the word "free".
I think I have over $1100 in my PayBox account. I'm rich!! Woohoo! Too bad it doesn't actually signify anything, lol.

I know what you mean WritingHaven. I signed up 2 weeks ago and I have almost $400. They are also having a debit card contest were users vote and the highest voted design get $1000 and some random voters will receive $100 payments in December they say. They claim that Users will receive a debit card once they 'open the box.' Guess we just have to wait and see.

Here's a good link for paybox info: http://www.assetinvesting.com/business/why-paybox-is-a-scam/
Many folx offer good reason to suspect this is 'too good 2b true', BUT they are still promoting paybox!
There's a catch no doubt, but it's fun to watch the money grow - and test your promo methods.
For now I'll choose to promote it and see what happens.
And I am expecting an 'upgrade' needed to access any monies - however real and valuable.
THAT'S the time to be cautious imho.
No money in, no money scammed!

I signed up for PAYBOX a while ago, didn't do much promo work, not even logged in for many days. Still I noticed the balance grew considerably , about 20$/day , just as they say. I don't know what to believe ... The sending/receiving money function does however work. It would be great if it will proven true in the end.

I don't know what to believe ... There is actually quite a bit of good stuff to look into on the site. Just participating, even just visiting other parts of the site can increase your value.
As I go over the $2,000 mark, so easily too, I can't help but want to investigate this further.
Time will tell, but I don't see how it could be worth much as a scam.

hi guys, i am from Greece, my name is Anastasios, and i joined like you all did Paybox months ago, maybe the first day it came out, i got untill now 2800$ in my acount loging into it every day, i got few referrals, and participating into the tests and surveys...but...i really wonder, when the day comes, how they will pay all these people-it is about thousands-that joined it as "earlybirds"..
I hope that i am wrong. but i "smell" something "false" into all this. Making a scam site nowdays is not so hard, there is the technology, the "gurus" and some money invested into such sites, generate a lot of cash for the owners. I am sceptic about Paybox and i am everyday looking to get more informations about this, if i get something, i shall post it here.
I wish to all you Happy new Year full of prosperity, health, wealth and hapyness

Yeah, I can dig that!
I went over $2K a while back.
It's not a bad idea to look over the site and click through stuff. That will also increase your imaginary bux, even if you don't get referrals.

While getting in on the beginning of a new currency could mean massive profits for you, their is some work that you have to do. According to the Pay Box website you need to log in "frequently" or your PayBox account will be terminated for inactivity. You also need to participate in the online surveys and jobs they have for you once you log in to PayBox. Of course PayBox.me is still in pre-launch so I don't know how much work they are going to require in order to keep an account active.

I can tell you, it doesn't require much!
I rarely do anything inside my member's area.
I send traffic to my referral link sometimes, via auto-surf. That seems to get members pretty EZ, since it's FREE!
Every now and again, just to know more about PAYBOX, I log in and look around. Maybe once or twice in a week, not even every week!
The money never fails to accumulate, even when I don't send traffic to PAYBOX, or get any referrals.
And believe me, I am regularly INactive, sending PAYBOX no traffic, and not loggin in!
They really don't ask much of you, but it's fun to look around the site anyway...

I also am a member of paybox, getting early bird pay $40.00 per week. This seems to good to be true. I starting to wonder if I should keep promoting this site.

ZiffTay: So how we can get the money from my account at paybox ? LOL!! Have you been checking out the site? This thread?
It's imoney!!
troy: This seems to good to be true. I starting to wonder if I should keep promoting this site. Again, just check out the website for yourself. And the posts in this thread.
There is a lot of information and mis-information about PB, like anything else. Especially something as new as PB - Sep, 2010.
PB definitely presents some good ideas.
Who's to say which way this will go as time goes by? But if you can investigate well and think for yourself, you'll have the advantage!
