rennn:
sorry about that. I know of the 100 limit. I'm talking about limiting that. Guess there isn't any way to know what they would do for sure.... But, the way it is right now seems good.

Rennn,

TriVita never seems to take anything lightly... They do pay attention to the numbers and if something seems to be out of whack, they fix it. When I spoke to Gene Henderson (VP of legal compliance and business services) a little over a month ago, he had mentioned that TriVita has shut down and reconfigured MAP twice to ensure they wouldn't run into problems. That's actually why the 100 customer limit is now in place- previously I believe the limit was 1000 per month and when they realized that wasn't working out, they fixed it.

That being said, with TriVita's intent to push Internationally in the next year, the chances of there being another restructure of the MAP system right now are pretty slim. More countries means more of a MAP pool to sustain the orders.

It's also worth noting that not every affiliate takes advantage of the MAP system- though there are about 15,000 or so of us, only a small percentage of that buys MAPs every month and most don't buy 100 at a time.

Are the customers you purchase already on some sort of autoship? And the big question to they remain buying customers for any length of time or just drop off after a few months?

Seems there is confusion about how the MAP program works.

To answer your ques Jeff from a personal standpoint, being with Trivita since July last year. I have 5 people in my downline and combined WE have over 500 customers. The only "customers" who are on autoship are the affiliates in my downline.

As an affiliate whether you come in at $25 affiliate program or the $1500 affiliate program you have to be on autoship, $20 a month if you are a 1Star (or below) affiliate, 2Star (or higher)affiliates have to be on a $100 monthly autoship, of the over 500 actual customers none are on autoship.

Even tho some or most of the 500 customers don't buy on a regular basis they are getting advertising materials from the company monthly encouraging sales.

So to answer "do they drop out" not really, they may not be buying but are getting magazines and latest news on products direct from the company.

However that said, IF you have tier 1,2,3 and are on $20 autoship you only get paid on tier1, $100 autoship you will get paid on all tiers.

Is it passive income? Up to a point, if customers are buying than you could be in profit if they aren't than you wouldn't be in profit, so its to your benefit to advertise, recruit, etc.

Hope the confusion is cleared up for you and all interested.

One more thing. Is there a limit to how many you can purchase? $50 sounds like a lot. Has this been profitable for you guys?

Honestly Jeff, I don't see how the average affiliate is in profit. I've been with the program almost a year and since I have about 10 or so affiliates under me I went on the $100 autoship.

It could very well be the economy and the reality that many people will probably choose supplements that can be found cheaper.

I have not seen profit nor do I see customers purchase regularly, if ever...just a few here and there these days. I've spoken with quite a few people who are saying the same thing.

I've reduced my autoship and will probably reduce it more or just cancel it completely.

My main problem is that many people promote it as passive income when in reality it is not. It's MLM with a different name....at least these days.

Take care,

Laura

I've done the same lowered my autoship, and dropped out of Sonoran Bloom affiliate program totally because I did not like it nor did it help my arthritis at all. I didn't like that I had to have 2 autoships to be paid.

Hey Luvtravel, looks like you got the wrong information you don't need two autoships, if you have just the Nopalea on Autoship it will be enough to qualify for all the commissions.

Laura, you were with the RIOY group that went under, so although you maintained your position, you probably did not see how well you can do with Trivita when with an active group, and/or when you have more control over who is under you. You did not mention how many personal customer's you have, or your downline has. I cannot remember the RIOY set up, but I believe you all came in with just a few, I cannot remember.

Personally, I have alway's told everyone that if they are not a referrer, they should look at getting 100 customer's under them over time, according to their financial ability. These are also tax deductible in the USA. I have people in my organization, which is over 11,300 since I joined in 2008, that have few customer's, but they all reorder, and have even referred other's. Then there are other's that have few customer's with few reordering. So we really need enough of a base to help with the law of average's on who will reorder or not.

Also, as in the real world whether one own's a business, or work's for a company with a 401K plan, we should continually reinvest a percentage of your investment's. If we want a real business, which Trivita is, we do have to work, and keep it growing. Now that we have the Sonoran Bloom line, we are seeing alot more joining, and then when they see how well this product works, these will be customer's for life. I just got off the phone with someone in my downline with lupus. She is so happy. This is a site that just list's some success stories with Nopalea - www.nopaleaworks.com

Tonight is Michael Ellison's and Dr. Minshew's Special Nopalea Call at 8:00pm Eastern / 5:00pm Pacific Time. Dial 212-461-5860 - Pin 0752#. Last week's call gave us some incredible updates and business building tips. This week's call promises to have more great information. This call is open for all Affiliate Members and guests!

Thank you Denise for your explanation of the real world of business. I appreciate your input since I have been successfully in the work force for many years and I did not realize that you actually have to work for success.....you are very wise indeed.

The actual point I was making was that this program is marketed as cooperative marketing, not MLM. You can purchase customers at $50 a pop and may never earn from those customers no matter what you do. That is the reality and perhaps due to the economy.

You read Terri's post. She was not impressed with the new product and I have heard that from others. Also, quite a few people who have more than 100 customers are not really earning anything more than their autoship. That is a fact.

The point is that spending $5000 on 100 customers is not necessarily going to make you profit in many, many years...if at all.

There are a ton of great opportunities out there where I can deposit $5000 and start earning in a week....and I have by the way.

I just wanted people to be careful who read this forum and make wise decisions. I was recently contacted by someone who only has a handful of money to invest and she wanted to know if she should put that into Trivita. I told her no.

Since we both know there are many other companies that will really earn us money....would you have done the same? That is the real question.

MLM, is MLM.

Trivita is another MLM business but it has the customers to help you build. Its way better than joining another MLM that also sells vitamins but does not have the Customers option (MAP).

You get a few customers to build a base and start referring others, you also tell them to get a few customers, lets say 25 each, after few months it starts to add up and it really becomes something big.

Its not an investment, nor you make money doing nothing there is no place where you can make money doing nothing, if you work your business you will get paid, that is what i tell my members.

They can purchase customers too, they will get 40% their first re-order and then 21% for their rest of their purchases.
As long as the person you are signing up is clear with that, then there shouldn't be any problems.

Hey Luvtravel, looks like you got the wrong information you don't need two autoships, if you have just the Nopalea on Autoship it will be enough to qualify for all the commissions.

I spoke directly with the business office at Trivita, I said I no longer wanted to order Sonoran Bloom it does not work and the answer I got was, "IF you do not have Sonoran Bloom on auto ship than you will NOT BE PAID for any sonoran bloom sales" !

Since Trivita changed the game plan when they came out with Sonoran bloom and told us business affiliates who were in Trivita that we would have to become sonoran bloom affiliates but yet it wasn't a "new company" and would have to pay $35 like everyone else who was new and have to get Sonoran Bloom on autoship or we wouldnt be paid commissions on any sonoran bloom sales that was not only not fair but quite a surprise to many of us.

To clarify for anyone thinking of joining Trivita by becoming a sonoran bloom affiliate make certain you get the whole entire full story right from Trivita customer service, because if you decide later to become a Trivita affiliate and pay $1500 just make certain you totally understand what your monthly autoship will be and how you will get paid commissions on all products.

They said that you need to have Nopalea on Autoship not that you need two autoship, with only the Nopalea on Autoship you qualify for the whole SonoranBloom and the normal Trivita Payplan.

The Share & Earn program only last 90 days, so even if you are not Share & Earn (SonoranBloom) qualified, if you make a SonoranBloom sale you won't earn on the first 90 days but when the 90 days are over you start to earn according to Trivita's payplan.

Terry, Nopalea does work extremely well for many people. People have experienced results that are changing their lives. I'm sorry it did not work for you.

No one has to order the Nopalea on autoship unless they want to be "Share and Earn" qualified, which is the accelerated 90 day payout for the first 90 day's that anyone is in this. They have sent this out in the updates since the pre launch. They cannot pay people an accelerated commission above the normal Trivita payplan if they are not participating. No one has more than 1 autoship, it is just what you want to order on that autship - needs to include Nopalea if you want to earn at the accelerated level. You can change your's to anything you like if that is not of concern to you. Stros explained it well.

I just saw that the www.trivita.com website for product's now shows the Sonoran Bloom Nopalea product!!! That is great news. Up until now, unless a customer (member) was living in a city near the Trivita 30 City tour for Trivita, with Michael Ellison and Dr. Minshew, Trivita has not advertised it at all.

The June paper Trivita catalog that is mailed to all affiliates and customer's will have Sonoran Bloom Nopalea in it as well. Can't wait until we see this increasing some order's as people try the product.

Here you can see some of the great result's people are having with Nopalea: www.nopaleaworks.com

I was thrilled this morning when looking in my backoffice at my customer's purchases.

The Trivita Win back program for customer's that have not ordered in a number of month's certainly works! I just had one of my win back customer's order $468 in product's. The order included a 4 pack of Sonoran Bloom Nopalea and Super Sublingual B12. I will get a 21% commission on this!

I just spoke to someone interested in Trivita's Sonoran Bloom Nopalea affiliate program that was in Trivita year's ago. This new line and way's to market has rekindled his interest due to the ability to now direct market and give people more option's to come in at. We discussed at length some of the benefit's of the product for those with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and those recovering from injuries.

For those of you that are also share and earn qualified with Trivita's Sonoran Bloom, discussing the product is a fantastic way to open the door. One of Trivita's recent Monday night call's mentioned this as well. With a product like this it is much easier to discuss the business side after discussion of the product with the numerous health benefits.

Trivita is it for me! So is Sonoran Bloom. It has helped my husband, my son and me so much. We even have our dog, Toby, taking Nopalea now. He only has 3 leg's and bad arthritis. It has helped tremendously!

I can attest to the power of TriVita's customer win-back program because that is how I came back. Their back-end marketing in support of their affiliates is second to none!

For years, I was referring people to Sublingual B12 even when I wasn't an affiliate. If a product can promote that degree of loyalty in me, then it probably does in others.

Sublingual B12 is one of TriVita's flagship products, one that brought in many, many customers from the TV commercials over the years.

Just a couple of examples of why I recommended it without any personal benefit:

I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel many years ago and chose to improve my nutrition rather than have the recommended surgery. I so glad I did because my wrists no longer cause me any pain and I work on the computer all day.

My husband works long hours in a very demanding profession and is nearing retirement age. He was coming home completely worn out each day and worse, mentally gone and I was starting to worry. He's so not a supplement guy and refuses to take anything that doesn't end in "ine"...caffeine, nicotine...you know the crusty old type.

I finally convinced him to at least use the B12 each morning and amazingly, I could tell a difference that same day he started. By evening he was still mentally alert and joking in his normal way again. Day by day, I can tell if he takes his B12 or not.

We love the power of that little pill and can see why so many people who try it through the commercials remain loyal customers.

Deb

I've heard some exciting things about the upcoming Sonoran Bloom infomercial that TriVita taped a couple days ago. A few people in my upline were invited to participate in it so the info I am relaying is what they shared with me.

From what I heard, they did tape alot of info on the Nopalea product, but they also spent a lot of time talking about TriVita's cooperative marketing model so this new infomercial will not just focus on selling Nopalea, but will truly have a "dual message"- promoting the Nopalea product and the TriVita business opportunity.

That means great things for affiliates! Right now customers coming in through company advertising are unaware that there even is a business opportunity unless they research the web and happen on the information or their assigned sponsor happens to contact them to tell them about the opportunity...

I also heard the new infomercial will be shown on a broader range of networks- currently the Sub B12 infomercial is shown on Lifetime and a couple other networks- not really local "mainstream" networks. That will change with Nopalea- from what I understand, they are setting their sights on advertising on networks like CBS, ABC, NBC, etc.

As for launch date of the infomercial, at the Nopalea kickoff event they were shooting for a July-August launch date- now they are looking more at September 1st.

I can't wait to see what they come up with for a finished product!

I had the honor of being asked to participate in the filming of the new Trivita Sonoran Bloom infommercial last week. We had a wonderful time in Scottsdale, AZ shooting the new Sonoran Bloom infommercial. Marcus Ellison and Terry Newsome were there along with a huge crew from Ellison Media doing the filming. We stayed at a beautiful hotel in Scottsdale, all expenses including airfare paid by Trivita. It was about an hour's drive to the shoot in a very upscale neighborhood in Scottsdale. We enjoyed the ride to the shoot and it was great being able to visit with the first Presidential Director of Trivita other for an hour ride to the shoot. Terry Newsome, the National Sales Director of Trivita, said that the new infommercial will be about 70-75% business opportunity, so this is not just to get new Sonoran Bloom affiliates. Michael and Marcus Ellison will be in the infommercial as well.

Below is the link to the Sonoran Bloom video that you can now send to people directly. This should be ok to post here since it is a generic company video link.

This is very important. Alot of you are building both your Sonoran Bloom and Trivita Steadfast pack affiliate business', I talked to Jeannie at Trivita yesterday about the below and we are all very excited that this is now a GOH! I did copy the below rather than paraphrase it so I do not incorrectly state the below.

TriVita's 3 Step Share & Earn System Enhanced with Nopalea Gift of Health So you can Pay It Forward!

The year of 2009 is proving to be a stellar year as TriVita celebrates its 10th anniversary on the heels of the highly successful launch of Sonoran Bloom, Nopalea.

"Nopalea has been a dream come true for our company creating record sales and delivering amazing wellness experiences for so many people."
Marcus Ellison Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing

With momentum quickly building the anticipation of what's next in the marketing tools is on the minds of our Affiliate Members. TriVita's sales and marketing team are working hard to make sure the tools can live up to the superior quality of Nopalea. Now with a few months of Nopalea on the scene it has become very obvious that the key to sales and recruiting is simply getting people to just taste the product. So to support this practice and our Pay-It-Forward philosophy we are happy to announce that Nopalea will now be available in our Gift of Health program. Sharing the product is now even easier!

As of July 2nd, Affiliate Members will be able to purchase Nopalea Gift of Health for only $20 US and $30 CN. The price includes shipping but does not include tax. What a great month June was! I officially progressed to the 4 Star Affiliate Rank, my upline moved to Director and I had 4 members beneath me move up in rank as well! Hopefully the momentum keeps up for the month of July!

Has anyone here booked their rooms, flights and tickets for the Galaxy of the Stars event in October yet? I had so much fun meeting everyone at the Nopalea kickoff in Phoenix this past March that I can't wait to go to this one!
