I'd buy that name but we can't use any registered or copyrighted name in our domain.

Jeff,
Just to let you know, you must have made a mistake in your URL because it takes you to a different page.
Take care,

Hey all,
I just joined and I'm psyched. I have been using the products and someone I respect as a marketer and person told me about how well he is doing after just one month.
Nothing like a few good programs to increase your chances to work from home full time.
The best part is they give you customers from all their infomercials and that's out 10,000 to 30,000 a week!
Take care,
Laura

jeffathome: Can't wait til Project: You! Type 2 comes out by Kathy Smith. This will open up a whole new market for those with type 2 diabetes. Beach Body already great and getting better and better every day.
This thread seemed to have died. I'm borderline diabetic and I'm very interested in fixing that. The doctors keep telling me to diet and exercise and I'm trying but I just never seem to get anywhere.
Michael
P.S. Is this the same BeachBody that is teaming up with TV Marketing Biz?

Hi Michael,
I signed up for Beachbody back in October since I was all ready a customer. I actually quit the next day though because I was overwhelmed with everything I was involved in.
It is a very good program though and I know a few people who are doing very well with it. Through the infomercials, they give you customers for free....which is key! You get even more once you reach a certain level.
The only concern I have about BB or any program where you somehow get customers is the percentage who actually make purchases more than once or at all. It's a relatively small percentage in my personal experience.
Being a customer, I have purchased DVD's from them maybe twice, but now that I have those DVD's I don't need to make another purchase. They do encourage people to buy supplements and I imagine some people do.
On the other hand, with BB you will have thousands of customers over time and even if it is a small percentage who actually make purchases, it will add up.
I know someone who gets anywhere from 10-20 customers a week and since they are free that is a very nice bonus. As a sponsor you can probably contact them as well and establish a relationship.
So I think this program is worth checking out and I'm going to consider getting back to it in a few months.
Take care,
Laura

Hi everyone! I just found this forum and thread while googling myself! Hey! Everyone does it!
My name is Judy Zavislak, and I was mentioned in the post from Sept 18th when one of my coaches won $1000 for having the 1,000,000th workout logged into WOWY (Beachbody's online gym...stands for Work Out With You). I got $500! Not to shabby!
So, I just thought I would post as just one more opinion. Here's my story...
I ordered Slim in 6 off of an infomercial in early 2004. I liked it, but what I liked more was the message boards at Beachbody. They gave me an opportunity to "hang out" with people who were living the type of life I wanted to live...a healthy one. I eventually got through most of the Beachbody workout programs...Power 90, Turbo Jam, P90X, Hip Hop Abs, etc. I'm currently doing a brand new one called ChaLEAN Extreme.
When I joined as a coach in early 2007 it was because I thought that it would be one more thing that would help me live a healthy lifestyle. Hey! If I was trying to convince other people that they should be exercising and eating better, I had BETTER be doing it myself!
In that respect, it's worked well. I took off those last 20 pounds, and haven't put them back on...well, not more than a few pounds here and there. We all have our "seasons". LOL!
What I discovered along the way is that this is a TREMENDOUS business opportunity! I am not a business person...yet. I was a computer programmer when I first started this, but got laid off a few months after I first joined. So, now I'm looking at this as my future career.
Things are going well. I've been given almost 700 customers by Beachbody, and they provide me an income when they purchase more products (through a commission).
You make a large jump in income when you start focusing on building a team of people, which I have recently done. Right now, Beachbody is working on an infomercial for the business opportunity. It's been in the testing phase for a few weeks now. People who sign up for this infomercial will become a coach, and will be placed with other qualified coaches. I just received my first coach from this infomercial today.
So, now Beachbody isn't only helping me build my customer base, they are helping me grow my team.
I see a great future for this opportunity. The company is great, and I love the CEO, Carl Daikeler. He's a very down to earth guy, but also a tremendous business person. The coach network is just in the beginning stages, but Beachbody has been selling products through infomercials and the internet for 10 years. We went from 41 coaches in Dec of 2006 to around 16,000 coaches today.
The money is great, but the BIGGEST reward is getting your health under control!
I encourage each of you to check it out. If I can help anyone make a decision, just let me know. I had others guide me in the beginning, so I would be happy to pass on the favor.
I can honestly say that this opportunity is not for everyone, but if your health is important to you and you want to have something to build a residual income in this CRAZY economy, I suggest you check this out.
That's my 2 cents! I hope it helped!
Judy

That was a pretty motivating post Judy. I have to say that BB is doing all they can to really build up the coaches teams.
The beautiful part is that they give you customers and now coaches for FREE! I do imagine that your business can really grow once you get that team of coaches as well.
I know the monthly costs are not that expensive so even if you do not market the program that much, since you are getting customers and coaches provided by BB then you can be in profit relatively soon.
I'm in a program where you purchase customers and have not seen a profit yet.
With BB, you are getting great supplements, great exercise videos (I have Turbo Jam and Slim in 6) and free customers and coaches. Nothing wrong with that!!!
I'll join again when my waiting period is over because I think this business has not nearly seen its potential.
Take care,
Laura

Judyz: The money is great, but the BIGGEST reward is getting your health under control!
Thank you Judy! I've had so many health issues the past few years. I've been hospitalized twice in the past year alone for sudden massive weight gain.
Although the problem turned out to be the medicine one of my doctors prescribed, the pre - diabetic issue has been a concern for a few years.
I'm certainly someone who needs to be watching my diet and exercising more.
For years I played softball and golfed and never had any health issues, but when I had a bad reaction to a drug the doctors gave me back in 2002 my life has changed drastically.
I was hospitalized for 40 days and 40 nights and I've never been able to get my exercise level up to where it needs to be.
I'm hoping that this is what I've been looking for and if I can make a few bucks from it then hallelujah ... the Lord knows I need to make money somewhere.
Best Wishes, Michael

Another celebrity has discovered the power of the "X." From David Akers, kicker for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, to Jason Scheff, one of our very own Coaches and lead singer of Chicago, to rocker Sheryl Crow, this program is hotter than ever. Could it be P90X's popularity is growing throughout the high-profile sports and entertainment industries? All we can say to that is, Bring It! This is such a great program that high profile stars promote it without being asked to.

Just thought I'd share this to all the current coaches out there. You can find some great tips in your back office under Momentum
Fit Club By Monica Ward
Weekly Fit ClubI'd have to say that the most effective practice my coaching team and I have implemented into our business is our weekly fit club. Fit club is a time we commit to work out together once a week. When we started coaching, I tried to think of a way I could add that special customer service to my business. We all agreed that working out with people using Beachbody products, even if the group workout isn't on the customer's program schedule, would keep people motivated from week to week. We just try to pick a cardio workout that requires no equipment other than a mat. Although weight loss tends to be the primary goal of many of our participants, we feel that calling it a fit club is less threatening or embarrassing.
Fit clubs cover multiple purposes:
* A regular customer gets a weekly opportunity to reconnect with their coaching team. * It keeps our customers accountable and results oriented. * The Coach has a weekly venue to introduce workouts to new customers. We don't just tell them how a Beachbody program works; we actually Push Play and sweat with our customers. * The prospective Coaches are encouraged to attend our workouts. At our fit club, the prospect can visualize how this business would fit into his or her life. * Oh, and we have fun!
I'll give you one example of how this might work: One of the Coaches I regularly talk to figured he sits at his son's soccer practice for over 11/2 hours. One day he brought his portable DVD player and completed the P90X Chest & Back workout using the monkey bars at the park. He encouraged other moms and dads to try the workout the following week. Five parents joined him and his fit club was born.
Monica WardI have committed to work my business two nights a week. I am a busy mom and I live for bedtime stories. In other words, my time is precious, as is the time of my team. Therefore, we choose to use the fit club as a substitute for the home party and the opportunity presentation.

The coach network is just in the beginning stages, but Beachbody has been selling products through infomercials and the internet for 10 years. Hello Judy, I was recently introduced to hearing about this program. I'm beginning to be a bit interested, however, I've been in a few MLM programs (as thousands of others), and am honestly turned off and very much burned out from them. I would like to find out some details on this particular opportunity however--since it does involve getting into shape, etc.
Here are my questions/concerns below:
* To actually begin as a QUALIFIED "coach", I understand it's roughly $130 (for kit & website, club membership and nutritional products)? Plus--are you REQUIRED to sign up TWO "coaches", who must also pay the necessary fees? THEN--Are you REQUIRED to purchase $50 of products monthly, in order to be a QUALIFIED "coach"? * On the above --are these the requirements in order to receive customers which are to be sent/given to you from the infomercials, etc? * From my research, you are to pay $15.00 monthly for your website? * From what I've been reading on various Team BB sites, as a QUALIFIED "coach"will you be required to actually 'coach', manage and assist others with both being a coach and their fitness? * Can you explain the pay structure? * What happens when later a person you've signed under yourself as a "coach" quits? Are you no longer a QUALIFIED "coach" until you get a 2nd person?
Appreciate your time!

Yes Von all that you have stated is true. If someone quits thatyou have personally sponsored you will need to sponsor someone else as you need 2 active coaches to stay emerald. You should be shooting for diamond so hopefully your 2 will come easily.

Jeff-- Thanks for your reply! I'm hoping there is good marketing material provided in the back office, in order to gain your 2 coaches at least.
