I joined and spent like 4 HOURS going through all the videos and information about all the different things it wants you to join. Believe me when I tell you hardly any of the different things they try and get you in are free. The only freebee's were the social sites I had already joined. I got NOTHING out of spiderweb, but I know that others have, but you must put money into it joining all the 20+ different programs they want you to join.

I have to agree that just because it is free to join that it is good. There are alot of things that you have to purchase to use the system which would be fine if you could successfully market these programs effectively. The major problem with this system is that it is just like a company replicated website. There is no way to separate yourself from the rest of the pack and the more saturated it gets the worse your results will get.
You need to find a system that allows you to brand yourself rather than a replicated site. This way you will establish somwhat of a realationship with the prospects on your list before you actually try to sell them on any programs or opps. You need to market the most important part of your business and that is YOU! This sounds counter intuative but it really does work. If you dont try to sell someone on your biz the second they meet you or land on your page you have a 10 fold better chance of getting them to want to work with you. The spider web system does not allow you to do this effectively. Basically you hope they are convinced by the "free"system and then when they get in and find out they have to purchase a bunch of things you hope they continue. The problem is that most people will feel cheated by all the smoke and mirrors and they will not want to continue with the system or YOU!
Bottom line... find a system that you can market yourself as a guru and you will build much stronger and profitable realationships with your list. Even better... develop your own sales funnel and websites with your own personal autoresponder if you have the technical skills.

I have several friends that had the same results/feedback as Julsy. There are so many systems out there that try and rope you in and bleed money off of you before your online business has had an oppertunity to earn income and ultimatly delay showing a profit. The guts of these systems are avaliable free of charge to those that want to take the time to look for them on the web. Granted they might not be wrapped up as nicely with a bow on top, but the info is out there free. I am not agaist investing money back into a business that is doing well and showing a profit, I am a firm believer however that we don't need to jeopardize our own pocketbooks to get into online marketing.
