I wondered why I lost one of mine! But I do have another in the works to replace him!
I agree, I totally don't get why people join and have no intention of paying??? Especially when we are talking $10.00. The only thing I can possibly understand is if they had issues with Alertpay, but anything that could possibly come up with that, can easily be straighted out with a phone call, and or communication with their upline!
Speaking of upline, I hate it when I e-mail my downline and never get any response in return. We are a team and that means we need to communicate and keep each other up on how we are doing. Nobody is going to succeed in this type of business unless they know their downline is at least trying and putting forth some effort. So, I am guessing those who never respond to their upline are most probably the ones who were purged for not paying, because the one I lost never answered my e-mails. But that is still wierd because I had commission showing for him, and now it's gone??? Maybe paymet just never got through or something?

GDi is a much better company but is very hard for the average marketer to get signups. I hate using the word "saturated" but thats what it seems like to me.
But you know, their website builder doesn't have a fraction of the features than the one that I use has for the same $10. GDI is definitely about the opportunity.

James may be a very good marketer but his website design/approval is a big problem. I'm sure he knows a lot of people and I'm surprised no one has approached him about it.
A very dark, somber and depressing site. Many people won't join this Business because of it. I suggest he starts looking at other options.
James if you read this. Come on man!. What are you thinking!. As soon as I entered the site it honestly impacted me. GLOOM!
I showed it to some friends and they felt the same.

Other people in the past have shown an interest in the homepage being set up differently as well, so James has already started a thread where members are giving their opinions on what they'd like to see. Admin is always great about letting members be involved in how things are done at RevMatrix.
In the RevMatrix forum under "Chit Chat" there is a thread titled, "Post your suggestions for the home page here" that already has several ideas rolling in.

I would just like to ask those in Revolutionary Matrix if their advertising rotator works and they get signs. Spillovers sound great but it works only if your upline are successful.

Well I know that their rotator works, but I'm not sure if I've actually gotten sign-ups from it. Most of my referrals have come through either personal recruiting or from spillover because I got a great spot under a really good sponsor.

I feel your pain Lynda. It would appear AP is having yet more problems... this time with credit cards from what I understand. I sure hope they are able to get that cleared up. In the meantime, I suppose it's always good to have a little cash sitting in AP through a free bank transfer for things like this. But I agree... ARGH!
Apparently James has left RevMatrix from what I'm reading over at the RM forum. Not sure what is behind that as I've been away a few days... but looks like RM is still moving forward.

Ok now I am worried. I have been cheated so many times I don't know what to think anymore. I sure hope this is real. CC is the only way I can pay for this and if this is going to happen how can I trust AP to pay month to month?

one new thing I have learned is that if you can't use paypal for something,--something is wrong. I canceled my rev matrix account. They just don't know what they are doing over there. (neither does alertpay)
Stick with GDI if you want to do mlm.

I have no doubt that Alertpay realizes this is a huge issue and they are loosing money by having this issue, so I have no doubt that they will want to get it fixed ASAP! As for Paypal, I have had numerous issues with them as well. You barely hit a wrong button and they freeze your acct and don't allow you to do anything until they send you something through the mail which takes 7 to 10 days, so as for Paypal being any better than Alertpay, I personally don't think so!
As for the issues about RevMatrix, I read the entire thread about what happened in their forum and apparently John Al-Oboudi was looking out for himself and NOT wanting to pay everyone. So, what has happened is that the other owners have taken back control of their own site and John is out! They want to be known for having an honest and upstanding business and have dipped into their own pockets to get everything that John did all straightened out and everyone paid properly. They are now trying to get everyone to understand that what they have done is for the good of the business and everyone in it! So, the site is under new management and they are doing everything in their power to get everyone to understand that they have weeded out the problem and everything is good to go!

Hello everyone,
I am new here and still fairly new to this at-home thing (which holds a lot of appeal for me). Unfortunately my very earliest attempts (years ago) involved losing money to unscrupulous individuals who sold ninety seven dollar eBooks telling you everything that Google would tell you for free about AdWords. But let's not get into that, shall we? I'm sure we've heard enough "been scammed or ripped off" stories.
So - somehow I found out about the Revolutionary Matrix program. It sounds intriguing, the owner seems like a good guy, etc., etc.
I looked over the site, I've read threads about it, but I'm still confused. I don't understand what I'd be doing[ after signing up. Okay, I get that there are levels under you, and you get a spillover effect and payed per person with a whoppingly large *potential* residual income (if you fill all your levels)...is that right?
But beyond that, I'm lost. What do you *do* once you've joined? How do you get people to join under you? Do you have to actively promote something, encourage people, write a blog, or what? Please go easy on me, I can be considered a newbie, here. I've never blogged, successfully sold an affiliate product, written a review, or made a website.
I can tell you one thing, which is that I don't like promoting/selling myself. I don't know if that dislike runs in contradiction to the inherent requirement to make money with this program...but you know what I mean, I've seen videos where people are going on about why "their" way is best to market such and such an MLM product, how "that other guy" isn't telling you the whole story, why you should "join them", etc. It all seems so competitive and turns me off. Should I count myself out if that's not my style?
Anyway, if anyone here is willing to share with me how it actually works, I'd be most appreciative. I'm not looking to get filthy rich (not to say I wouldn't mind thirty five grand a month, ha), but any amount monthly would help me out a lot these days, even a hundred or two hundred bucks to start.
Thanking you for your patience and assistance!

I have also read a lot of details from both sides about the recent issues in RM. Since I did not witness anything personally, I couldn't possibly point any fingers one way or the other. Glenn and James are both experienced business people, and I wish James the best with his new journey as it sounds like he will be starting a business of his own.
As always, I can really appreciate the efforts Glenn dedicates to RM, and I hope to see it continue to thrive!

I'm not looking to get filthy rich (not to say I wouldn't mind thirty five grand a month, ha), but any amount monthly would help me out a lot these days, even a hundred or two hundred bucks to start. Hi R.ticle One... Welcome to the world of making money on the net! Let me begin by honestly telling you what I pesonally have done, I first joined a "gifting program" and within 2 months, it faltered. I was able to make my money back out of it before the site completely went down, but most didn't. I have since met people and got to know them actually in this forum. I decided for myself that after getting to know people that were doing fairly well with the business that they were doing, I would take another chance. But, it wasn't actually the system, but the person that I had gotten to know and talked to several times, that I started to trust and wanted to give that person a chance more so than the business itself! By alligning yourself with the right "people" and "team" weather or not the business falters or does fantastic, your entire team is in the same boat as you and you stick together. Now, what I am trying to tell you is that by taking a chance on a great guy that I talked to and really liked what he had to say, I am now in several different businesses together with him and we are both becoming successful in several different businesses including RevMatrix.
Now as for RevMatrix, I have found that the best way to get people to join under you is what I have stated above. I have made some of the BEST relationships on here and e-mail and contact my people very often. I am a very loyal person and think that I have the BEST team of people EVER! But that is what has worked for me. I also have Lenses and Hub's as you can see below on my signiature if you want to see an example of what you could do to help yourself promote. Otherwise whatever you do is completely up to you. I have some of my team members who make flyers and put them out in their community. I have others who have their very own website showing off our business. I have some who use traffic exchanges and most of us also use social networking sites (yuwie, myspace, facebook) and free advertising sites. I have some who refuse to talk to friends and family, and some who have totally gotten friends, collegues and family in. So, basically whatever you feel that you can do to promote will be fine. And most of us all promote FREE only!
Like you mentioned, the name of the game for this Matrix system or any other Matrix system for that matter is to promote and get people to join. When you do that, you make money.
I have only been in the online business world a few months now and I am also still learning as I go. And believe me, if I can do it, anyone can! I try to make it as easy as possible for anyone who joins my team by immediately sending all the information of everything that I have done to promo that has worked for me. I also promo for my team members as well! But I do expect everyone to also participate in trying to promo for themselves as well.
Please feel free to PM me if there is anything more specific I can answer for you. I hope this has helped you to understand a little bit more about the RevMatrix and how you could possibley succeed.
Julsy

Hello Julsy!
I knew you would be the first person to reply, even after browsing these forums for just a little while. Thank you.
So basically, the "product" Revolutionary Matrix sells is the service of webhosting/blogging, but the real name of it all is simply the system of getting others to join, huh? I suppose those "products" are good tools for doing so, in addition to Squidoo, et al.
So, let's say that I joined under you, for example - but I also saw someone else (who was also a good promoter) and liked what they had to say, and wanted to join their team, too, thus increasing my chances - can you do that? I think I read something about multiple accounts...would that simply entail paying the monthly fee of ten dollars for each person you signed up under?
Thanks again!
