Of course - how silly of me!! Thanks juno 44444 !!
I think Pay Per Play will be HUGE - with a fantastic residual income!!
I urge everyone to register their websites - it would really be a pity to miss out on this one!!

Yes. Haha. You're welcome.
If anyone hasn't started yet ... the ads are supposed to start playing on 1 Feb ...

I was doing some research on this and am getting conflicting results based on owner performance and broken promises to previous reps of a similar system.
I theory this sounds VERY good.
There really isn't anything talking about traffic exchanges this is the most info I could find: "The audio ad is only 5 seconds in length and a website visitor will only hear one 5 second advertisement per visit to any specific web page where the PPP code has been inserted. The visitor will only hear one audio ad for every 3 minutes they visit if they have already heard an audio ad on another page of the same website"
The ads themself do not appear to be to obtrusive, but I could see this frustrating some people. I heard a pretty standard Taco Bell ad just a moment ago and was nothing but hunger afterwards
I love the idea as it is IN THEORY much better than PPC, as you don't have to worry about people clicking.

I had similar thoughts - I guess we will have to see what happens when it launches.

I agree, it could be awesome and blow ADsense out of the water. and if they don't outlaw traffic exchanges then wow this would be ez money!!
As for the past mistakes, well i will give them a shot at turning there reputation around. and even if things go horribly wrong and it flops (which i highly doubt) its completely free so we wont be out anything.
So everyone knows the affiliate program will close shortly after launch. you will earn from your downline forever, but will be unable to get any more referrals, after that point every new member will be stand alone much like any other advertising programs. so if you are not a member yet you should be ^_^ and get all the referrals you possibly can while you still can! my ref link is in my sig so get in ppp!

Very Very True. Sorian. I don't see any harm in at leat building a downline. I've not received any "promotional" type emails from them so they must not be selling info or anything. So far i'm happy with the idea.
Worst case scenario you can place it on a traffic exchange or other place to get members. That's what I'm doing.
I'm heavily promotiong it in my own downline as an extra stream of income. As this DOES NOT REPLACE ADSENSE, but rather adds another avenue of revenue.
If they don't block trarffic exchanges from the gate I'm sure they will or they will lose credability with their clients who'll be paying for garbage hits.
The more research I do on this the more I get my hopes up. Sometimes you have to take a small gamble to not miss out on a great thing.

As for it not replacing adsense i think it might, first i doubt google will let ppl use this on the same site as adsense, they are bullies like that heh, and lets say on average you get paid as much per play as you do from google per click, if that happened there would be no need for google (unless you could use them both, but again i have heard google does not allow you to use any other advertising on sites with adsense)
Traffic exchanges ehh? tried a few and had no results, same with safelists

I don't think traffic exchanges would work out ... that's not what the advertisers are paying for.
What I wonder - with Google, you aren't allowed to click your ads. But now, when I edit a website I will be visiting the pages so the ads will play so then ... how does that work? Am I committing "visit fraud" if I visit my own website?

I'm sure they'll be able to track your IP and exclude those "hits"
Traffic exchanges are very hit and miss. I ran two traffic exchanges looking to "give away" a Craig's List guide. I got Many subscribers for my email list, but then only received 2 GDI turn overs. I decided that the clicks I got through adsense because of the generated traffic were not enough to warrent my time. I will from time to time surf for hits when I'm doing something else, simply because traffic is traffic and If 1 person signs up because of it it would be simple time spent. Vishal uses Adsense and ContenLink so perhaps it will be possible.
IF adsense does not allow you to run two types of programs AND IF PPP works out PPP IMHO would be the best route to go...as it is a guaranteed pay.

Quoting: duckbird Now if I have PPP on the site, will I be in violation of any rules if I access my own website? i.e. click fraud
When you login to the back office a cookie is placed on your machine that makes all browsing done from that machine exempt from ad counts.

Got this yesterday just a few hours before the launch
Pending Launch As you all know on 2/1/2008 NetAudioAds will begin pushing live ads out to their audio ad distribution network (you).
Unlike typical launches where everything opens at once, this launch will be different. Audio ads will NOT begin playing everywhere at the same time. This will be a slow, methodical ramp up until NaetAudioAds is playing ads to the complete network.
This will take time... 30 - 60 days to get up to full speed.
Why did they wait til the last second to tell us this?

I have hits showing on my site, just no money??? Perhaps because it's just in launching stage the numbers are still being crunched. On their members page this looks like the explaination they are giving.
If you haven't signed up already my link is WORKING

Interesting,
I have been in this from start, and although beta testing took longer than expected, the concept is sound, and I liked it when I heard ads on my sites, and am awaiting using system for my business, but it has been quiet for the past month, no ads running, so when does this go live?

Not that I know of, beta testing period is just that, testing, so to my understanding, no one has been paid yet.
