Im just curious as to how much money you have made in this so far (Mr. Squirrel) and how long it took you to start making money, and to see a return on your investment. Also what kind of time is needed to profit from this? I am a single mom, college student, and work part-time to boot, is it a huge daily time commitment? Thank you
Wendy

Hi Wendy,
It's hard to say how much I've made from MOIS alone because I went off tangent a few times and actually generated my OWN ideas based on what I learnt from it (as opposed to just using exactly what MOIS tells you). This has made the process longer and required a greater investment of time but I feel it's made it more valuable - both in terms of knowledge and generating actual online income.
It took me just under a month to make money - and the same day I saw a return on my investment (including the $10 domain name charge for that year).
But this sale could have happened 2 weeks earlier or 2 weeks later. I was only up to day 12 of the action plan (I had other commitments too!) and hadn't yet gone off tangent. At this stage the system is still very unpredictable (money one day, then nothing for a couple of weeks).
Following all the steps on the action plan makes the system more predictable and provides you with multiple ways of getting traffic and generating sales.
Like anything in life, the more time and effort you put in, the more reward you get. In a way this is why I don't want to boast that I earn X amount - it's a very individual thing and I don't want to give false hope of possible online income levels to people who aren't fully committed.
'Kimberley Hoffman' sounds like she was in the same boat as you - and this is why her devised 60-day action plan consists of tasks that should take you no more than an hour a day.
I'd recommend setting aside an hour a day if you can. Be strict about it. Sometimes you will be able to do a couple of daily tasks in an hour, sometimes there's a bit of reading so print it out and bring it along with you for when you have a spare moment.
The 60 day action plan is generally formed from isolated tasks - so once you complete one there is no obligation to go on to the next for fear that the whole thing collapses. They're building blocks. Each step you take, you're building a little higher. You'll get there in the end.
So don't spend more time than you can afford. Once you get the 60 day plan complete, you should be making the $30-50 per day stated. If you're imaginative it could be more...
You will learn some good stuff from it too - something you could put on a resume.
In summary, you make it what it is. Put in the time and effort sooner, you'll start earning sooner. But if you can't afford that time and effort then you must think of it as a longer term investment (2-6 months maybe...). There's no harm in slow and steady - and they say it even wins the race!
If you're still thinking twice about costs (and well done for doing so - you remind me of me!) then message me through FortuneFavours and I'll let you in on a secret or two that I'm thinking about for my own product.
Remember - make the right decision for your circumstances. Don't be spurred on by thoughts of how you would have loads of money to spend. Be realistic. It's a long journey of highs and lows but there should be plenty of fun along the way and you'll make some good friends too.
P.S. I think my New Year's resolution for 2010 will be to write less.

I am on day 30 of MOIS I have had 37 unique visitors to my site but no sales as of yet. Any suggestions on how to change that? Not sure what a good ratio of visitors to sales would be? Even if 5% is reasonable I should have had at least one by now. Can anyone give some input as to what are good numbers for sales/visits? Thanks bunches

Hey drawnear,
I notice from your Make Money Online site that there's not really any self-customisation.
And the markets your websites are tailored towards are very competitive so you need to offer something a little different.
Even so, you should still be able to make some sales. I would look at how you are trying to attract buyers. And while it's all very well trying to get lots of visitors, you need visitors that convert.
What marketing methods are you using and who you are aiming these at?
Where are your visitors coming from at the moment?
All in all, keep your head down and keep building. Think about ways you can improve what you're offering your customers. What would make YOU want to buy from your website?
You'll know from Day 26 we can't talk specifically about contents of MOIS but from day 20 to day 30 you are laying especially big foundations - and these are foundations that you should continue to strengthen.
For general tips on traffic and conversions then look around this forum. For example: -> http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/7_12632_0.html -> http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/6_12690_0.html
Specific to MOIS, I'd say run this past the guys on the new MOIS members forum - I see you've already posted there a few times - and yes, eventually the lights will go on!
So don't be disconcerted. Personally, I found things a lot easier at the beginning when I didn't check my account. Don't think about the money. Think about what you're actually doing - what you've got control over.

You can always change products on your site as long as
you follow MOIS instructions.
Between 10 days ~25 days are for setting website and teaching you
how to promote.
Just follow step by step and click by click!!
Thank you
Happy day~^^

...and you can also change products on your site without following My Online Income System instructions - it's quite straight forward!
You should note that you can't select your products if you opt for the free website option.
If you opt for the pro plan, you can select your products. The pro plan costs $140 per year and allows you to have 5 websites in up to 5 different niches. These niches are: > BizOpp > Weightloss > Forex > Survey > Government Record Search
You could have 5 websites promoting Weightloss products if you wanted.
Once you sign up, the website(s) is set up and ready to go.
Then, as jaesun says above, all you need to do is promote it (i.e. get traffic to it).
And ways in which you can do this are detailed in My Online Income System.
Are there any radical new approaches to internet affiliate marketing in My Online Income System?
Erm... I don't really think so. But what it does is introduce you to the fundamentals in a structured fashion, which saves a lot of time and facilitates decision-making.
It clarifies everything you need to know as a beginner going on to the intermediate level, and opens your eyes to the more advanced techniques that are out there.

The average seems to be 1 sale for every 100 hops.

Hello everyone, I am currently using My Online Income System (MOIS) and would love to answer any questions you might have pertaining to the program. In a nutshell, in my opionion this is an excellent E-course for beginners in affiliate marketing. There are tons of resources and the programs step-by step daily action plans make it really easy to learn at your own pace.

Hi, I am interested in the MOIS, and I was wondering, do you have to use the free website offered and pay for the host to be successful with this program? Can I just pay the one time $47 and expect to get income after the 60 day program?

Hi KFett You can just pay the $47 and nothing more but you only get the free website which is already set up for you to promote, you cannot change this website. I am using the free website but I have not finished the 60 days yet, but I think I will get some earnings if I keep following the course. I have had some traffic to my website and i'm not even halfway through. If you don't want to use the free website you can pay extra and upgrade to the five which are also set up for you, but which you can alter. Hope this answers your questions. If you have any more I will be happy to answer them if I can.

Thanks Persil, so I won't have to pay the $10 hosting fee along with the $47, if I only use the free website that the program offers us?

No you don't have to pay the hosting fee with the free website, you can just pay the $47 and use the free website at no extra cost.

Hello again everyone -
Just recently signed up for MOIS and currently studying the 60 day step by step program. When I signed up, it automatically gave me my very own members link, which is the welcome page.
Is there an MOIS member's site link that I can access first and THEN possibly log in to my own member's link? Since I really do not have my own laptop as yet, I jump from PC to PC, each has their own internet connections.
I just dont want to enter my own site link on the web page and risk someone else gaining access to it as well.
Maybe this isn't even a big deal at all, but just thought I'd ask. I also hope I am making sense with this question.
Thank you ALL in advance!!!
- P
