Agreed, if you are referring to pyramid cash gifting, this is not legal, but not all gifting is the same.
Success to all,

Well, it really is nice when the cash comes directly to you. Immediately too! I suggest people woek hard to get a number of capable and active members. Once you do, you can then relax your own efforts, and let your members promote, and earn for themselves. This way you won't be in competition with your own downline. You can then work on promoting other offers. (It's what I do anyway!)

WARRANTIES4LESS: Agreed, if you are referring to pyramid cash gifting, this is not legal, but not all gifting is the same. I'm referring to all gifting programs. Giving someone a gift is legal, but the gifting programs online (some are offline too) are not legal.
I understand people that promote them will say otherwise, but there are resources to show that they are not legal.
The one's promoting a gifting program are trained to use certain words a certain way, to make it appear that it's legal, but that does not make it so.
It's just that many who fall for them believe the promoters and do not know any better.
I had a relative receive a chain letter in the mail. I said they were illegal, so their friend contacted a local lawyer to see if what the promoter was saying about it being legal was true. It seemed to good to be true, but they wanted to believe there was a small chance.
The lawyer said they were not legal, but chances of people participating and getting in trouble was pretty slim. It tends to be the one's starting it, or what we say in MLM, the heavy hitters they go after.
Seems to be true in gifting programs as well, but who know if that will change.
I'm just not sure why anyone would take that chance, or want to be a part of something like that. Why not spend your time any money on building a real business?
Most people end up losing money in gifting anyway, at least with a real business, you have an end product that you can sell to people that may want or need it.
Best to all,
Kim

I never understand why those prefer to promote something that blatantly has no product. There are so many more valuable companies and businesses out there that have tools and products you can legitimately use to make a lot of money.
Making big money in this industry isnt hard. Just leverage and farm out the menial tasks and spend your time on closing and collecting the benjamins.

I've actually done really well in cash gifting. I had lost my GM job last year, and didn't want to chase friends and family with a traditional MLM. I found an ad responded and havn't looked back.
I do have 2 other biz alternatives that offer just in case someone is not interested in gifting.

Alexia: In recent times, cash gifting has become a major practice to many. A lot of people are still amazed by the rapid prosperity that cash gifting is attaining and how those who have ventured into it are gaining. Yes, Cash Gifting will get results fast!
Also, we should recognize that all gifting programs are not the same, and many don't fit the description of being ONLY a cash gifting plan.
kim_ward: I'm referring to all gifting programs. Giving someone a gift is legal, but the gifting programs online (some are offline too) are not legal. I understand people that promote them will say otherwise, but there are resources to show that they are not legal. What resources? You have to accept that cash gifting setups have changed. Many offer products, and not all are pyramids.
Please show what law cash gifting violates, and what cash gifting structures are examples of that.
If you say they are 'all' illegal, show what law states that. If you can. Otherwise, you are simply mistaken, and should admit that.
All cash gifting schemes are simply NOT the same...
WARRANTIES4LESS: You must do your own due dilligence, and since most will confuse all gifting as being the same as the airplane pyramid, most won't take the time to understand the technical differences on why they are not even closerly related. yes...
