The amount they promise seems very unrealistic

Well, yeah...but I was wondering if it was REALLY legitamate (I don't think I'm spelling that correctly). Even if it's just a couple hundred a month or so, I'd be pleased.

I started 2 other topics about 2 other programs, maybe you can give me your opinion on that one

You really can make money with this program, but first you have to know that it's not a job, you only get paid on commissions from promoting companies' products. It's like affiliate marketing. It's not my style. They give you a list of companies that you can choose from to promote their products.

See, that and Profit Lance make it sound like you're doing some data entry to help companies process their orders (WHICH I WOULD BE AWESOME AT), but the more I'm reading from this forum, it sounds like you're just placing ads on other websites.
I'm so confused!

I don't know about Profit Lane but most data entry programs are about placing ads online promoting products, when someone buys the product from your ad then you get a commission for the sale. Only a percentage of the sale.

Some of them tell you where you can advertise the products and so on but I already know how to promote a product and I know where I can find good products to promote. I don't need to pay for that type of info. If your just starting out with one of these programs or if your a newbie at internet marketing, you will fail miserably. People are making BIG dollars doing this but you really have to know the ropes.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like it's for me...I love data entry, but these sound like you even have to make your own website...what a hassle!

Ok, rbwhiting, here's another question. In your signature, the Free Online Cash System...is that the one you do? Is it good for you? Is this all as hard as it sounds?

I'll tell you my sitch--that's cool-person talk for "situation" -- I work for my uncle, he ownes a resort. Even when we are busy (and we do have a very successful business) there is a lot of down time, picking our noses, me and my partner in crime crochet, read magazines, surf the internet, I take some surveys, and we all play computer games, etc. etc. In our slow season...well, it's bad when both of your office managers fall asleep.

I've had my own blog before and was able to maintain it quite well until I ran out of life stories to tell, lol.

Plus, there's my after-work hours where I SHOULD do housework, but often just watch tv.

Does this sound like something you think I could be successful at it, and you say I'll fail miserably, so what kind of failure are we talking about? It sounds kind of discouraging!

concretebrunett I didn't mean for it to sound as bad but I'm only saying that if you're a newbie at internet marketing, it will take some time to learn the ropes on how to promote the products to get good results, besides having a good product, marketing and advertising is the life of the business and if you can't do that successfully, you will have a hard time getting sales, that is if your business is based on selling something.

And yes I am with this program, one reason I like this system so much is because you're not trying to sell someone a product. It's a simple program. They teach and train you through live conference calls how you can access free cash online and they teach you how to take that cash and turn it into more. No it's not a get rich quick scheme. I was skeptical at first but I tried it anyway since it's free.

Ok, so it's free, unlike the others, that's a bonus!

I've never expected any of these to be a get rich quick deal...I'd be impressed with just a little bit, even if it was just $25 for my first month, I'd be pleased.

How much TIME are you spending per week and is it WORTH the time you are spending?

And am I being annoying?

Honestly it doesn't take a lot of time to make money with this system but it does take some time , like 2 or 3 hours a day, but I spend 5-10 hours a day on this because I love what I do, I love the results I get from it. So YES you bet its worth it. And no you are not being annoying.

2-3 hours doesn't seem bad. I'd probably get that much in between customers, and if not that, then my off work hours while I watch tv!
Hmm...sounds like it's worth a shot.

I enjoyed reading this thread.

I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't have to be a hassle to make your own website. It can be extremely fun and addicting if you choose a subject that you really enjoy. (My first site was about chocolate candy!)

You can build a site about almost anything and make money with it. I know people who have built web businesses about pocket watches, comic books, ADHD, Amish country, vacuum cleaners, scrapbooking, and more...

If there is something you really enjoy or know a lot about (or want to learn about), 99% of the time you can turn that into an online business.

You may start slow with a couple of dollars a month, than $20-50, then $200-300, then $1000-2000 and ...

If you can stay focused and take those 2-3 hours a day you have and invest them in building your own business, you can build yourself a long term income.

But you're not actually selling the stuff, right?

No, I'm not actually selling the 'stuff' personally, and most of the sites I referred to aren't either. They are providing information on the subject and referring people to where they can get what they need. When they go there and get it via my site, I make a commission.

For instance, if someone is looking for how to mold chocolate candy they can find the information on my site and then I direct them to companies that sell the molds, chocolate, cello wraps, etc. They go there and buy and I get a percentage of the sale.

That's affiliate marketing without all the posting of classified ads, etc. I tried that first and never made a sale.

That's not to say you can't sell your own stuff if you want to. Some people end up writing ebooks on their subject and offering that for sale on their site and making some good money that way, too.

There are a lot of options, but the main thing is that the business is yours. It's your site and you can monetize it any way you please. If one thing stops working or selling, you just swap it out for something else that does.

All the best to you,
Angie

I would have to agree with happywifw, building a website is great fun and the fact you are learning new things everydays is a bonus. I am also involved in affilaite marketing and i feel it is a great place for a newbie to start. The concept is easy to pick up, it can be done one a small budget, even for free if you want to and the skills you learn can be adapted and used for many other ways of making money online.

Oh and just to set the story straight profit lance is no data entry program it is an online course teaching people how to make money top product !!

This has been an interesting thread! And you are both right, hemjoe and concretebrunett about pl being data entry... it is an awesome learning program if that is what you want to use it for, but if you want to make money with it, then you will be placing ads online..... am I correct?

I think you would be good at something like this, concretebrunett... first of all, you will learn a lot about online marketing with the program and then if you ever want to pursue another avenue, you can always use PL to do so...

Good luck!

Hi,

Just reading through this thread...I looked into Legitonlinejobs when I began searching around. I found a lot of review sites that warned against it. There more I did my DD the less positive info was coming out. It was very off putting. I actually bought a couple of 'all rounder' products that included the info in their ebooks.

however, I have heard great things about PL, and haven't really found anything negative, other than those who use a scam review to promote their own product, which I always take with a pinch of slat.

I think the more you shop around and research you'll be able to pick
up on the reviews that are legit.....it kind of follows a pattern!

Good luck with your ventures!
