If you are talking about Goarticles.com, it simply means the number of times your article has been downloaded.

Ok... I'm so new to all this... from what I understand, affiliate marketing is getting paid to sell someone else's product? Do you have to ship it out to customers yourself? How do you get paid... are you mailed checks or is there direct deposit available?
I have to say all of this interests me a lot.

It pretty much works like that. For example, suppose you are promoting a weight loss ebook that sells for $40. You can get a percentage of the sale if someone purchased through your link - usually about 50% of the purchase price, or in this case $20 (minus a small transaction fee).
You don't have to worry about shipping, because most products are delivered via an instant download.
You can promote physical products, but even in that case, you don't have to worry about shipping, because all you are really doing is referring someone to the merchant - everything else takes care of itself.
Most affiliate networks will pay you via check, although some will pay you via Paypal, or even direct deposit.

rather than asking whether it's worth it or not, why not just buy and try it? if it doesn't help, go to clickbank and request for a refund (dont ask from the merchant himself) and say like u did not benefit from it. It always works. But I mean if it REALLY doesn't work for you, don't be a bs and refund every single book :P

No, I wouldn't transfer it. You have a really good blog. You could try wordpress.com or wordpress.org sometime to see if you like it better.

I don't know if we are talking about the same thing but I bought a program that was advertised as "A home based business for the average Joe" and it DID teach me how to take my business on-line and automate it. I spent a few hours every few days on it at first but once I got everything set up the system pretty much worked itself.
He teaches not only how to set up a business and find buyers who want your product but also how to build a subscriber list and follow up with them to get them to buy.
I'm sure I would not have been able to get as far as fast as I did without help. I was basically paddling upstream and barely breaking even.
Now I have a profitable business.
